    What Need I of Grace?

The point is that the means by which we are saved is not by looking to a set of do's and don'ts and by keeping them (Galatians 2:16). If we were going to be saved through that method, we would have to keep the law perfectly (Galatians 3:10, James 2:10, Matthew 5:48). But we are saved because...

According as I also am of Christ

He was. Heb 7:15, And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, Heb 7:16, Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. Heb 7:17, For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after...

    What Need I of Grace?

I know you mean that he was the first Gentile Christian; it is also true that his friends were converted along with him when Peter preached to them; and they all spoke in other tongues.

    What Need I of Grace?

Praise God. You appear to be basically blind to what is directly in front of you. I suggest that you read 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.

    What Need I of Grace?

Jesus did (see Mark 5). 1Pe 2:21, For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Deu 18:20, But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. Deu 18:21, And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken...

    What Need I of Grace?

Yes indeed. This is found in Matthew 5:43-48, Luke 6:27-35

    What Need I of Grace?

Rom 7:13, Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. There it is right there. Pro 18:13, He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it...

    Peter's Vision

1Ti 4:4, For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 1Ti 4:5, For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 1Ti 4:6, If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up...

    Peter's Vision

Yes, you... Strong's definitions are not based on his theology; but on an accurate defining of Greek and Hebrew words.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

They're claiming to be prophets. The Bible says, I think in Deuteronomy, that if a prophet prophesies something and it does not come to pass, you shall not be afraid of him nor heed his words. And, 100% accuracy is required. I think it even says that that prophet ought to be put to death.

    What Need I of Grace?

The law is indeed holy and just and good. However it is used by sin to bring about that which is evil, in order that sin might be found to be utterly sinful. Romans 7:13. The law condemns, Galatians 3:10, 1 Corinthians 15:56. And that is the bottom line.

    Peter's Vision

That's the way...cast doubt on the source. I believe that may even be a logical fallacy called attacking the sender? We can do the same with your source; and just say to everyone that your source isn't credible. It's your word against ours. I would point out this however: 2Co 13:1, This is...

    What Need I of Grace?

Praise the LORD! All of scripture is to be taken into account. 1Co 2:13, Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

    True Trinity.

Jesus did indeed have a human mother; while His Father was indeed the Lord God: Mat 1:18, Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. You just contradicted the scripture...

    Peter's Vision

See @BreadOfLife's post #45 (Peter's Vision) The source he is referring to is very likely the Strong's Concordance. Thank you, @BreadOfLife.

    What Need I of Grace?

You are wrong. In 1 Corinthians 15:56 we find that the strength of sin is the law; and this is referring to the ten commandments. The ten commandments bring a curse to those who are of them (Galatians 3:10). And this is not to say that as believers in Christ we are not obedient to them; for...

According as I also am of Christ

Jesus was High Priest according to the order of Melchizedec; and therefore His character was not after a carnal commandment but after the power of an endless life. He did indeed violate the letter of sabbath day laws by working on the sabbath day. In Exodus 20:10 it says that on the sabbath...

    Peter's Vision

He did indeed (Genesis 9:3). You are contending that the English rendering that we normally read is inaccurate. I have already told you why this mentality is a cult-like mentality.
