    True Trinity.

Stumped. Ready to hear the answer from you. (can't think of chapter and verse; but I think that the answer is that the people worshiped God).

    Truth is not relative

70 A.D. was not the end although the temple was indeed destroyed in that year. The end technically happens when Jesus returns in the glorious appearing.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

My point in the passage was that when it says the lame man fell down at his feet, that personal pronoun refers back to the noun God in the previous verse. But it was Jesus' feet at whom the man fell.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Pro 30:7, Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: Pro 30:8, Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Pro 30:9, Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and...

    Truth is not relative

It is to be built upon what was shown clearly before. However, if it can be shown scripturally that something that was reached before as a consensus was not bibllcal, those beliefs should be re-examined.

    Truth is not relative

The end would have come in the first century A.D. (see Matthew 24:14).

    Truth is not relative

    That too.

    Truth is not relative

I hold that the meaning of study is not to be excluded from the interpretation...while diligence is definitely a factor in what was being conveyed by that scripture.

    Truth is not relative

The known cosmos at that time...there were still frontiers that had not been reached because the Americas had not yet been discovered.

    Truth is not relative

Through councils. Actually, the scripture has two basic applications in any given moment...1) that it is to be obeyed by the people to whom it is originally spoken; and, 2) that it is to be obeyed by the people reading it now in the 21st century (and before). I know that I am not defying the...

    Truth is not relative

Hi, @Marymog, I think that the internet provides a venue in which scripture can be discussed and so that a general consensus can be reached. However, every one of us has a thinking mind and must make our own decisions as to what we believe personally, based on all of the information that is...

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Yes, I'm certainly aware that a new believer may have never read John 1:1-3, 14, for example; and therefore may have no concept of the Deity of Christ in scripture. Given that the gospel of John is most recommended as a first read for every new believer, I don't think it will be very long...

    True Trinity.

Is there anyone else that He can be?

This subject is being discussed in a more concise environment here: Truth is not relative

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

@APAK, @DNB, and cohorts; have you considered what it says in Luke 17:11-19? Luk 17:11, And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Luk 17:12, And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which...

    Truth is not relative

Also, the Catholic Church has been known to exert force on those who disagree with them, without giving them the information that forms their views. People are decried as heretics when they are only going by their understanding of holy scripture. They are not allowed to become privy to the...

    Truth is not relative

I think that I agree with them; though I don't agree that the church only consists of those who exist within the Catholic hierarchy.

    Truth is not relative

If you want to make a point, make it. Please provide all of the information that you believe substantiates your point by posting it in this thread in words and letters. If you don't want to make your point, that is also fine. But I want everything on the table so it can be brought to public...

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

I respect you @marks to a very great degree, but I think that we will have to agree to disagree on this one. I think that if anyone really knows Christ, they understand that He is the God who created them. If knowing Christ is a prerequisite for salvation, or the sure sign that a person is...
