I know people who do that as their ministry...but my ministry is more along the lines of planting seeds of God's word on the internet. We are certainly able to bring healing to people in hospitals as a body... I do know that those who offer this kind of ministry are for whatever reason...

So...Jesus did not preach the same message when He said what He said in John 14:6, and/or in Matthew 7:13-14... Now did He?

Stop trusting in the teachings of man; and believe what the word of the Lord says. Psa 118:8, It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Psa 118:9, It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

The promise was given for them to put their trust in; and the word of the Lord doesn't return void.

He did not gather with Christ and so was scattered. He did not receive Christ into his heart; and so his house was empty.

Adam and Eve put their trust in the promise of Messiah in Genesis 3:15.

To be forgiven for believing the wrong thing, one must believe the right thing.

There is complete forgiveness in the blood of Christ.

If there are similarities they are merely coincidental. Those who created the myths may have had some kind of revelation of what the reality is, impaho.

There is only one Christ. If anyone says that they are Christ (other than the Lord Himself) they are in place of Christ and against Christ--anti-Christ. Also deceivers, Matthew 24:5.

Matthew 7:7-8. Since the primary thing we need is forgiveness, it follows that if we ask the Lord for it He will give it to us.

That is talking about an idol made of brass; not the Person of the Son of God!

The person in question being spoken of is our Big Brother; and ye He is also said to have children as God. There is only one Father. Think about it.

I will interpret it as being a literal account and not a parable. This is clear when you look at other scriptures; such as Matthew 13:41-42, Matthew 13:49-50, and Matthew 25:46.
