What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Are you referring to any verse of scripture? Please give the reference. I would reference 1 Peter 1:17, Job 28:28, and Proverbs 1:7.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Seek, and you will find. If you look for the substantiation for the doctrine that can save you, you will find it.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Then it isn't wise to be gambling your eternity on the issue. Faith is often a matter of choice.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

I could wish for your sake that I were wrong and you were right; but I know that it is not the case. Your only hope is to repent and believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ. Otherwise you will die in your sins.

    A question for mormons.

I would add Revelation 3:20 to the bunch.

    A question for mormons.

Read the verses. They promise salvation to those who receive the Lord and/or call upon His name in prayer.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Both of you are condemned by Jesus' word that He has spoken (John 12:48)...specifically in John 8:24 as compared to Exodus 3:14.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Jehovah is the LORD of hosts; and He is one. The Holy Ghost dwells in all of His fulness in each individual member of the church (1 Corinthians 6:17, Ephesians 3:19).

    A question for mormons.

They are indeed salient to the inquiry, if you would but look them up and consider how they apply to the question at hand.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

There is only one true God (John 17:3). So if Jesus is a god, and not God, then He is a false god. btw, the Greek word for and in John 17:3 is kai, which can be translated even.

    A question for mormons.

    See John 1:12; Romans 10:9-13.

    Commentary on Romans.

    Indeed!

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

I believe that the Lord wants us to take the scripture at face value (see 2 Corinthians 3:12 (kjv)). He is not going to give us a different message than what is plainly stated when we look a little deeper.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

God the Father calls the Son God. And Jesus is the Son of God. Not to mention there are many passages in the word that teach us that Jesus is the Lord (God).

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

It does indeed speak of the fact that Jesus is not only divine; but that He is God come in human flesh. All one need do is read the first fourteen verses of the gospel of John to come to the understanding that Jesus is the Lord (God). It is certainly not a false truth (see John 5:18).

    Commentary on Romans.

Rom 8:35, Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Rom 8:36, As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Rom 8:37, Nay, in all these...

    True Trinity.

It seems to me that the Son of God is in the flesh but that He who inhabiteth eternity is not in flesh. Does this not make them on distinctly different levels? He is the same Person; but One is not in flesh and the other is. In effect, He is in two places at once; in eternity (filling all...

    True Trinity.

I certainly said it according to the wisdom that the Lord has given me; just not in your words.
