    True Trinity.

Because Grailhunter offered to help me with the resources at his disposal...and if I'm not mistaken, I determined once before that he is a Mormon and therefore those resources would very likely be coming from the Mormon church...unless he is independently wealthy. And even then I do not think...

    True Trinity.

That you call God "them" is a major flaw in your theology. He is three-in-one; there is only one God (James 2:19; Deuteronomy 6:4).

    None.

    True Trinity.

I believe that you will find, in reading more carefully, that the concepts that I lay forth in posts #1-#5 are not in fact modalism. I do indeed emphasize the fact that the Lord is one. However, I do not deny the distinctions within the Godhead. Take care.

    True Trinity.

I think that in rejecting help from the Mormon church I am doing the right thing. For if I accept help from them, I am also certain that there would be strings attached.

The "like manner" of Acts 1:9-11

In claiming to be the Son of God, He was also claiming, in Isaiah 9:6, that His name shall be called the everlasting Father and the mighty God (for the latter, see Psalms 50:1 (kjv)) Psa 50:1, [[A Psalm of Asaph.]] The mighty God, even the LORD (i.e. Jehovah), hath spoken, and called the earth...

Do you belong to "the [true] Church" (1 Tim 3:15)?, if so, how do you prove it?

There is such a thing as angelic tongues (1 Corinthians 13:1). Iow, a language that is spoken among the angels of heaven.

    True Trinity.

We're trusting in the LORD...but thank you for the offer.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

celibate priests is also not biblical: 1Ti 3:1, This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 1Ti 3:2, A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 1Ti 3:3, Not given...

It isn't set in stone that I won't be able to post. There may be internet access at the motel.

    True Trinity.

Okay, don't worry, take your time. I want to take this opportunity to tell everyone that I am moving into a motel with my wife and that I therefore may not have access to the internet any longer. The lady whose house we were living in passed away and her house is going back to the bank because...

Do you belong to "the [true] Church" (1 Tim 3:15)?, if so, how do you prove it?

I think that you didn't read the scripture in question. It specifically speaks to the one who is attempting to teach a lesson to other people. And yes, it does indeed speak of the fact that they do not take advantage of that lesson in their own lives.

    True Trinity.

@Grailhunter, By a miraculous creation of the seed of the woman (Genesis 3:15); in which the Holy Ghost became one with the egg in the womb of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:35). I understand that Mormon doctrine dictates that Mary had sexual relations with the Father...however those of us who are...

But everything to do with your attitude as a Catholic.

Do you belong to "the [true] Church" (1 Tim 3:15)?, if so, how do you prove it?

The parable in question tells us to judge nothing before the appointed time. I speak for myself and not for those who have gone before me.

Seems like Catholics are always trying to teach you a lesson. Rom 2:21, Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

    True Trinity.

the full-fledged God. This was actually related differently in Ancient Greek philosophy and world religions than in Christianity. In world religions, the golden rule is negative...don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you. In Christianity, it is positive...do unto others as...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

The angel was telling her that she would be pregnant without having sexual relations with her betrothed, Joseph. That is a reason for being puzzled. It does not mean that once she was actually married to Joseph, she didn't intend to have sexual relations with her own husband. That would be...
