    Are the Ecumenical Councils valid?

Lovely... The joy of the Lord is your strength, I gather?

    Not bad...and you?

Your mane seems to be a little ruffled. It's another "think" coming.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

There are two distinct Persons that we are here speaking of (who are, in fact, one Person): the Father as He inhabits eternity; and the Father as He dwells in human flesh. Both Persons are equally the Father: but one dwells in human flesh and the other inhabits eternity.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

I know that I am right here and that you are wrong. I have not failed the test of 1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7; but you apparently have failed the test. Your doctrine betrays you as being a gnostic.

    If Perchance Catholicism Is Mistaken

Works that merit salvation are by definition salvational. And this is the false doctrine of salvation by works. Period.

    If Perchance Catholicism Is Mistaken

1Ti 4:16, Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Understanding Romans 6 is critically important

You really need to think about what the scripture in question means, in light of the verse before it.

As I have said before...I am a watchman.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

You have given false doctrine that is very much the same as gnosticism. I have not failed to claim that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh: I am saying that He never ceased to exist as a human being when He ascended. You might say, but it says that He became a life-giving spirit. He did...

And yet, it is backed up by scripture... Romans 11:5-6

Understanding Romans 6 is critically important

Most assuredly, grace in a person's life will produce a labour of love (obedience)...see 1 Corinthians 15:10 for example. At the same time, grace and works are mutually exclusive when it comes to what saves us...see Romans 11:5-6 (kjv).

Understanding Romans 6 is critically important

In Romans 6:14 we find that sin shall not have dominion over you because you are not under the law but under grace.

    Are the Ecumenical Councils valid?

I believe that if prayer were to be reinstated, that it would have to be within the parameters of religious freedom; otherwise it would be unconstitutional. Kids would have to be allowed to not pray, to pray to whatever God/god that they choose, and/or to pray in whatever manner they choose...

What do you know about the Holy Bible?

I've recently had kjv Bibles, one in which Agabus prophesied of Paul that he who oweth this girdle shall be delivered into the hands of the Romans, and another in which Judas convenanted with the Jews to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver.

    Are the Ecumenical Councils valid?

Muslims can pray as they pray, and Christians will pray as we pray. The one true God isn't afraid of the prayers of Muslims to their false god. If anything, it would prove to be a contest to see whose prayers are answered...whether the prayers of Christians to our true God, or the prayers of...

    Are the Ecumenical Councils valid?

One thing I do know...and that is that the devil is afraid of children praying genuine prayers for our nation in the classroom. Because I don't think that it was God who went through all the trouble of having it removed. Some may indeed pray out of rote/repetition with no "oomph" behind...
