Without unconditional Election,no one would be saved.

You have a choice of accepting that it is not a parable; or you can reject this truth: but I would say that those who reject this truth do so because they have no desire to repent and they also want to believe that they can live an unrepentant life and that there will be no consequences. But...

Without unconditional Election,no one would be saved.

Now, if you look at the understanding of the what the lake of fire is all about in Revelation 20:10, you will see that it is tormenting day and night for ever and ever. Also, in Revelation 14:9-11, it is clear that the punishment there is for ever and ever, without rest day or night for ever...

    The Gospel

I believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are distinct Persons within the Trinity. That defines me as not being a modalist. You do not understand what I believe nor do I expect you to ever try to understand. It is the same nightmare as in the last thread where this was discussed...a...

The God that mankind is rebelling against doesn't exist.

No, the law is not my master, Christ is. The law is His word to us as to the details of obedience that He requires, obedience to Him. As true believers, we are obedient to the spirit of the law, we are not sticklers for the letter. If the spirit of the law requires us to do something in...

    The Gospel

    What a lovely, unpersecutive statement.

Without unconditional Election,no one would be saved.

See Matthew 13:41-42, Matthew 13:49-50, Matthew 25:46. These verses would tell you that if God is good, the human soul is immortal; because the punishment being spoken of is eternal separation from God. And the human soul continues to be conscious (and alive) after this separation takes place...

The God that mankind is rebelling against doesn't exist.

I know that it is probably in Ezekiel 18 or 33; but I would think that if you were being honest with the word, you would not shrink back from the accountability of sharing chapter and verse with some here who are not as versatile with the word as I am. Because I am not God. Was Paul the...

Without unconditional Election,no one would be saved.

Scripture implies free will in many places. Why does God command all men everywhere to repent? Why doesn't He just pull on their heart strings and change them as elect, without the call and commission to repent?

Without unconditional Election,no one would be saved.

Ain't a fact, jack... The truth of the matter is that surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ is a necessary factor in everyone's salvation who has it. The scripture that I quoted is true to our demeanor and attitude...we are here as servants of the most high God...and we do not preach...

Also, I have not thrown out the law in the slightest; for I believe that we are still governed by it as believers; although we can no longer condemned by it.

Actually, John 5:17-18 relates John's assessment under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Jhn 5:17, But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Jhn 5:18, Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. I believe that the basic premise of the OT...

2Co 4:5, For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

    The Issue of Calvinism.

Of course it is about believers. It doesn't change the fact that we as believers have gained access into grace by our faith. Maybe one of these days you will open your eyes and see that if I have access by a key into my mansion, the fact that I am now living in my mansion doesn't mean that I...

Without unconditional Election,no one would be saved.

He could certainly override our wills if He chose to do so; but He has sovereignly chosen not to do so, but rather to act as a gentleman concerning our acceptance of His grace and favour. Faith isn't a work, Ephesians 2:8-9 is clear on this. Since we are saved through faith and not of works...

The God that mankind is rebelling against doesn't exist.

Nehushtan has to do with making a physical idol out of the Cross. Jesus said, I am the way and the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father except through me... 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 speaks of the fact that we are saved by our keeping in memory of the gospel, that Christ died for our...

It should be clear that the change of life exhibited by Zaccheus was the result of faith in Jesus Christ. Zaccheus believed that Jesus was the Messiah. Now Jesus had not yet died on the Cross; however Zaccheus' repentance was the sign of a heart that would believe in the substitutionary...

The God that mankind is rebelling against doesn't exist.

A man cannot be saved apart from the understanding that he is a sinner. The scripture hath concluded all under sin, in order that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. If I say that I have no sin, I deceive myself, and the truth is not in me. The only way...
