Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Is Jesus Christ a second God next to YHWH; is He 1/3 of YHWH; or is He YHWH?

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

And that is twice now that you have failed to confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh...so here is a third opportunity...do you?

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I'll take that as a no...unless you want to answer the question with a yes now.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

What I have said before stands as the testimony that I do not have the spirit of antichrist. I confess wholeheartedly that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh...do you? @Dave L.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

You keep getting the order of these two things reversed. For the record: I believe that the Son is the Father; Isa 9:6, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

As a matter of fact the original posts are not intended to be divisive, but rather to bring unity.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Yes, and I would add: 1Co 1:10, Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. Phl 2:1, If there be therefore any...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

1Co 2:13, Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1Co 2:14, But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I would define myself as a combination of Oneness, Nazarene, and Calvary Chapel (and as the latter two I see a distinction between the members in the Trinity; while in the first I attempt to emphasize the Oneness of God in order to fight against the heresy of Tritheism in people's minds)

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I am certainly not judging you; just saying that the contention that something is divisive comes primarily from a religion that wants world domination.

How so? What is the difference?

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Hi @charity, I don't know what religion you hail from; but I do know that it is the antichrist religion that claims that the truth is divisive; because it is a one-world religion and desires to have all people come under its banner. Not saying you aren't a Christian; just pointing out that you...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I will say this one time and one time only: that I do not deny the doctrine of the Trinity. @Dave L has three fingers pointing back at him, because of his Tritheism. Therefore he has no ground to stand on for his claim (that I am denying the Trinity) unless he can show how I have done so. And...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Of course the devil uses fear tactics to keep people in bondage. To deny that Jesus is the Christ (to deny Jesus) is to deny the Father and the Son. The scripture in question substantiates my position rather than destroying it. To receive Jesus is to receive the Father and the Son. Certain...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

This is an excerpt from the Athanasian creed also:

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Yes, it is your straw man, @Dave L. I do not admit to having never studied the Trinity...I know what is written in the creeds and I also have studied my Bible for over 28 years with the doctrine of the Trinity on the backburner of my thinking. I have not studied extensively what man has to say...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I contend faithfully that there is one God and Lord present at Jesus' baptism.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

@Dave L's contention is that he thinks that I deny the Trinity. He is mistaken on this. I affirm the Trinity; but emphasize the Oneness of God in order to defeat the heresy of Tritheism; which he apparently believes in: otherwise he wouldn't be raising such a stink about my doctrine.
