Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I am not in disagreement with that statement. I would say that it was not a second God that descended and neither was it 1/3 of God however.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

"Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your heart as in the day of provocation." (Hebrews 3:7-8, Hebrews 3:15, Hebrews 4:7).

    That's what you think.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

If the one Spirit is three Persons, how do you define that as not being three Spirits? Is the Holy Spirit triphrenic? In the creeds it is said that Father Son and Holy Ghost are made of one essence. I would say that the essence is the one Spirit; and, as @101G says so clearly, the Spirit of...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

And the King James Version of the Bible... . . . Also, these are one and the same Spirit, the same Lord, the same God. For there is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4), the Father (John 4:23-24), the Son (Colossians 1:27, 1 John 5:12), and the Holy Ghost (John 7:37-39). There is one Lord (Ephesians...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Indeed; for it is written in Jude 1:4, For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, even (Greek: kai) our Lord Jesus Christ.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Yeah, he loves to sneak ideas into people's heads apart from fully quoted scripture... Just as he had to quote "half" a verse in his endeavor to tempt the Lord in Matthew 4:6, Luke 4:10-11. Compare to Psalms 91:11. omitted: "in all thy ways." But fully quoted scripture he can't handle...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Take out the re- and you hit the nail on the head. There is no such thing as reincarnation, Hebrews 9:27. I would venture to say that the scripture he is cherry-picking is scripture in support of his pov, which indicates even by your words that his pov is supported by scripture. John 1:14...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

There is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Mark 12:29 (kjv)) Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Corinthians 12:3).

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

    not 1/2 and 1/2 but 1/1 and 1/1.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I would agree; but would clarify that the Son is fully God (and God in all of His fulness).

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

shared implies that one person has the toy while the other person doesn't; and they switch off possessing the toy. The reality is in that the Spirit is fully God the Father; and the Son is fully indwelt by the Spirit who is the Father. Thus in order for the word shared to be accurate, both...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

God the Father and God the Holy Ghost are one eternal Spirit (Hebrews 9:14); however they are distinct according to what each has experienced, as the Father is the Holy Ghost's "past". While He has descended and then ascended again to become outside of time (Ephesians 4:10, Isaiah 57:15); and...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

That word shared gives me cause for concern. You do agree that in Christ indwelt/indwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily?

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

God (the Father) is the Spirit that dwells in and dwelt in Christ. The Spirit of Christ is the Father. Supporting scripture: John 4:23-24, John 14:7-11. The Spirit of Christ is the Holy Ghost also. Supporting scripture: Luke 23:46, John 15:26.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

We are really just fellowshipping more than trying to convince one another of anything that we disagree on. I am in complete agreement with your statements.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Also, Jesus released His Spirit back into eternity after His sufferings, so that the Holy Ghost is the Father with a twist...in that He understands humanity.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Who is the Comforter in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4? The Father is "the God of all comfort." Read it.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

The Father sent the Son according to 1 John 4:14. But the Father did go; however He also stayed behind, for it is impossible to vacate eternity.
