Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Not in answer to your question, I just want to mention that those who are saved/redeemed/born again are included in the body of Christ and so are not excluded from immortality.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I think that what most people think is the Trinity really is not. I define my Trinity doctrine by what the Bible says, not by the words of "Trinitarian Scholars" (although their words are useful in determining certain aspects of the doctrine).

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

It is very simple as far as I'm concerned.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I think that that is good enough. Trying to explain the doctrine so that people can understand it is really done to help people to accept it who have the kind of mind that will not believe anything that they can't comprehend. I believe that we can comprehend the Trinity...but that we need the...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

No, I think it is the other way around; but there is no use getting into an argument over it.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

There is only one God according to the shema of the Jewish people (in Deuteronomy 6:4). This concept is basic even to a faith that will not save--it is essential to a faith that does (James 2:19) You do, 1 Thessalonians 5:23. Quite alright; take your time. Actually, see Hebrews 4:12...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

You are one person composed of spirit and soul and body--a trinity in nature...nevertheless you are not three persons. If that were the case you would be something like what I would call triphrenic; since your triune nature is confined to a singular human body and is not three bodies. You are...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I agree, but would clarify that by saying that the Persons are distinct, not separate. lie. Does that not refer to one person--you? One of the first principle doctrines is the Deity of Christ, John 8:24; as it is essential to salvation and one of thee first things you must learn when...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Not according to the understanding that God has given me.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

The occurrence at Jesus' baptism in no way contradicts what I believe about the Godhead.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Can you make your statement a little bit clearer please.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Yes, that is correct. And what I believe in is the biblical doctrine of the Trinity; because some of the creeds are slightly off. If you get your understanding of the Trinity from the Bible rather than the creeds then I think that you will eventually see, know, understand, and believe my pov.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Yes, there is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5, 1 Corinthians 8:6); and He is the Father (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21). However no one can say that Jesus is the Lord except by the power of the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 12:3 (kjv)).

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I would say however that we can know all things if we have asked for an unction from the Holy One. 1 John 2:20 (kjv), But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. And therefore it is not arrogance, but rather a trust in the reception of this promise, that might lead a...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Jesus is the same Spirit, the same Lord, and the same God as the Father and the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 12:4-6).

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I also make it a major part of my argument that my faith in the truth is the evidence of things not seen and the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). So I let it be a testimony, as an evidence to the opposing party, that their arguments have not convinced me in the slightest. This...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

What I meant to say is that none of the arguments from the opposing side are good enough to convince me of the opposite of what I know is the truth. Nitpicking about the words I have used is what you have to resort to. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. I am not a religious...
