    How many ear piercings?

Not that I am aware of. We've only been married twelve years (and I've never seen her wear an earring).

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Yes, he ascended to become outside of time and sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Lord. And the Father became the Son in the incarnation. See Ephesians 3:11.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

See post #281 (Proof of the Trinity. No takers?) How so? Of course He was in heaven and on earth. Your point? I can have it both ways; for I understand how it can be: and once you know what the doctrine is, it is so simple that a child can understand and receive it. But carnally-minded...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

If you are Oneness then you are being self-defeating in this answer.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

They are the same Person; yet distinct from each other.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Yes they are one Person...but you have to see that the Father remained behind in eternity at the same "time" that He descended to become a Man...thus the Father was in heaven and the Son on earth.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

The alternate interpretation does not negate or refute the primary one. And yes they are distinct...however they are not separate...for that would amount to Tritheism.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

    Not from my perspective.

    Bring forth your evidences.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Indeed...for He was preincarnate as the Father...Isaiah 9:6. Also, in meditating on John 1:1 a scripture that bears witness on the issue is Ephesians 4:10; in the understanding that Jesus ascended to again become outside of time (Isaiah 57:15).

    On How to be saved

Right. If Jesus didn't die for your sins, you are not going to heaven when you die. You are certainly not going to get there by law-keeping (Galatians 3:10-13, James 2:10, Matthew 5:48). Jesus is the only way in (John 14:6); the only door that leads to eternal life (John 10).

    On How to be saved

It doesn't say that exactly. Then you had better consider that your interpretation of those verses in Ezekiel contradict what the scripture plainly says in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. I derive my most closely held beliefs from scripture...what are you talking about?

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

There are certain passages hidden in Isaiah (which if you read the whole book of Isaiah you will find in due process of time) that tell us that there is no God besides the LORD and that He is the only true God. In other words, there is not a second God created by an eternal mirror that...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I see that you are gathered with the Mormons on this controversial issue. God became obedient to His former self in order to set an example for us. Jesus showed the devil that he was wrong to exalt himself in the beginning by showing the true way in humbling Himself rather than exalting...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I agree. However, you would appear to be teaching that the archangel Michael is God Almighty in your doctrine. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Christ. To speak against the human Jesus may or may not be speaking against the Spirit inside of Him. He is, more accurately, the sevenfold Spirit...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I believe Him when He says those things too. It doesn't change the fact in my mind, that He is God. The Holy Spirit is not separate but distinct. He is sent in Jesus' Name (John 14:26, Acts of the Apostles 3:20). How is it incoherent? Jesus was tempted in His humanity (Matthew 4:2); not...

    Expose on Mormonism.

It is the nature of eternity that if God vacated eternity, He was never in eternity. I suppose it takes a mind that can grasp eternal concepts to be able to understand this.

    Expose on Mormonism.

Do you believe that God can lie or that He can even sin? if not, then you just put a limit on God, yourself.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

Yes, Jesus emptied Himself of the attributes of Deity so that He could be our perfect example of what it means to be obedient through dependence on the Holy Spirit. He became a Man; and in taking on the nature of human flesh He submitted Himself to finite boundaries of limitation as a human...
