    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

Never mind, then. The point of the gospel is that God so loved the world...that's what makes it good news to self-centered man. No doubt, we are all selfish by nature...how else would we receive the message of the gospel unless there was something in it for us? Of course, once we enter into...

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

The first and third groups that you mention fall into the same category of no. Although, according to the parable, the second and third group would be the ones who truly say no, since the first group says, "I will go," and then doesn't.

Finish the sentence. You are still being unclear. How do you see three groups in my theology?

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

When we worship a God who isn't selfish, we become like Him...unselfish. So the requirement that we worship Him is for our benefit...in order that we might become like the One whom we worship, 2 Corinthians 3:18. re #195.

    BAPTISM

Luke 8:13 shows forth the scenario of someone who believes for a while and then falls away... John 6:47 would tell us that someone who believes has everlasting life. How can they have everlasting life if they fell away? This is partially a test of your reading comprehension.

You're going to have to be more clear.

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

That we are to preach the gospel of Christ is not in question: what is in question is whether you are preaching the gospel of Christ. To me, the gospel is defined in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and John 3:16-17. If your gospel is different than what those passages teach, then it is a different gospel...

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

The indifferent will be faced with the gospel message too; and if they reject it, they are damned for their rejection of Christ and what He did for them; but certainly not because God made that choice for them! They made the choice themselves; and entered into eternal damnation because they...

    BAPTISM

My belief is that every opportunity is given to a man, in this life, to either receive or reject Jesus as Lord and Saviour. If anyone makes a final decision against Christ, no opportunity exists afterwards; and death will not come to a man until he makes a final decision for or against Christ.

    BAPTISM

I suppose we will have to agree to disagree. Your view would bring me to the logical conclusion that those who fall away continue to have the life of God in them, however.

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

When conviction of sin occurs, and the call to repent is laid forth, every person has the option of repenting or of not repenting. Some may give lip service to repenting without actually repenting. Others may fight against the call of the Lord on their lives and yet, when all is said and done...

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

Mat 21:28, But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. Mat 21:29, He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. Mat 21:30, And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I...

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

I am not one of them, so I don't think I need to delve into it too much in my theology.

    BAPTISM

A mortal sin would place you outside of Christ for ever...the apostle John exhorts us not to even pray for the one who has committed it. As such, mortal sin is defined in the following verses: Mat 12:31, Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but...

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

Making me work today, I see. Works, in Ephesians 2:10, are something that we do because we have a living faith alone in Jesus Christ. These works were prepared beforehand for us to walk in, because through faith, we are inclined to do the will of the Father. It is clear from Ephesians 2:8-9...
