Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I usually don't reply with doctrine being absent. See 2 Timothy 1:13, Titus 1:9.

    How does God lead?

The scriptures testify of Jesus. See John 5:39-40. The primary goal is a relationship with Him; and once you have that, the word only serves to edify what had already been given. The Bible is a foundation is what I am saying. However, if what you say is true, then we can cut out of our...

    Wet Paint Principle (Freedom)

Obviously not. But hopefully the Holy Spirit is speaking through me; and you should consider the possibility of that.

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

Actually, the law for unbelievers today acts as a schoolmaster to lead them to Christ (Galatians 3:24-25). And it also governs the believer from the inside through the love of the Lord Jesus dwelling in the heart (Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:4 (kjv), Romans 8:7; Romans 5:5 w/ Romans...

    How does God lead?

If you had a spiritual gift yourself, you would not be saying that: methinks that you are simply jealous of those who have them.

Who is pierced other than in ears? (as in e.g., Exekiel 16.12, etc.)

She just says, "That would be awful! it would portray a bad image."

Who is pierced other than in ears? (as in e.g., Exekiel 16.12, etc.)

I'm not sure it would even be a talking point. But come to think of it, it might be. I know that my wife is opposed to it and for that reason it probably isn't going to happen.

    How does God lead?

That Jesus Christ is come in the flesh does not mean that He had a carnal, fallen nature. Four scriptures in the New Testament show that He was, and is (Hebrews 13:8) without sin: 2 Corinthians 5:21 Hebrews 4:15 1 Peter 2:22 1 John 3:5.

Who is pierced other than in ears? (as in e.g., Exekiel 16.12, etc.)

And therefore, an earring in the left ear would be more according to the message that the person with the earring is a bondservant of Christ.

Who is pierced other than in ears? (as in e.g., Exekiel 16.12, etc.)

I understand that homosexuals testify to what they are by having earrings in their right ears.

    How does God lead?

You consider the Azusa Street Revival to be a questionable sect?

    How does God lead?

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Hebrews 13:8 declares that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.

    Wet Paint Principle (Freedom)

"Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your heart as in the provocation."

Who is pierced other than in ears? (as in e.g., Exekiel 16.12, etc.)

Certainly it would have to be the left ear then.

Also, I believe that it was Rebekah who received a nose ring as a gift from Isaac through Eliezer.

    Wow! Thank you very much.

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

    v. 20 is definitely to be interpreted by Galatians 2:21 and Philippians 3:9. There is an impartation of inward righteousness that exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees which is merely outward and according to the observance of a set of do's and don'ts. Real love in the heart...

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

Unless you become as little children, you will no wise enter into the kingdom.

Believers stay righteous through their obedience

If you are referring to Matthew 5:17-20, I believe that that passage does not say that those who do not obey the law and teach others to do the same are not in the kingdom; it says rather that they will not be called great in the kingdom. Or were you referring to a different passage somewhere...
