    Baptism in Jesus’ Name?

Hi @Reggie Belafonte, Please look at Romans 11:15 and its context of the entire chapter for your reading pleasure.

    Is your tattoo faith based?

Amen; personally I believe that the law is important so I do my best to even obey the laws in the OT.

    Your favorite Psalm?

I believe He is saying that if we are of the elect, that no amount of suffering can cause us to deny the faith or give up on His salvation; it comes back to the fact that in all of His protecting of us His primary purpose is to preserve our soul, Psalm 121:7. And if we lay hold of the promise...

    Who managed to quit smoking?

I agree. Unconditional love from believers is a major influence towards salvation, not only justification but sanctification also.

    Your favorite Psalm?

Amen; however when I have been in trouble I have noticed that God sometimes allows it to go beyond what I would like in the way of the suffering that I have experienced.

    Who managed to quit smoking?

Yes; I believe that she helped people to know that the fact that they didn't have the victory in that area didn't mean that they weren't saved. The helmet is an important piece in our armour..

    Is your tattoo faith based?

I don't have any tattoos personally, and would never get one; not even one that is faith-based; but I also don't condemn those who do.

    Your favorite Psalm?

Also, He will watch over you in your going out and in your coming in. This has especially helped me with a certain paranoia that was in my mind.

    Who managed to quit smoking?

God only knows. It seems to me that her faith was genuine; she appeared to have the love of the Lord in her heart.

I lost contact with her when I moved out of the area.

    Who managed to quit smoking?

One other thing I want to say: when you are under the influence of nicotene, the experience seems to be that you lose all memory of things when you were not under its influence, and those memories seem to be restored when it is in your system again.

    Who managed to quit smoking?

As a matter of fact I do. I have a background of being in the mental health system, and one time there was a demon-possessed person who was in the same ward as me who somehow convinced me to smoke a cigarette. I smoked the whole thing in just a few seconds, and my physical reaction was so...

My experience of them is that they are not certain of this at all. They really do know deep down that Jesus is God. However something within them grates against this concept so that they actively fight against it. When you show it to them in scripture, they walk away convicted every time.

    Amen brother.

    THE Gospel

If anybody said that they were walking in it themselves, I believe they would be crossing the line and would be sinning (1 John 1:8). I do not believe that 1 John 1:8 and 1 John 3:9 contradict each other. One of them is talking about indwelling sin and refers back to Romans 7:18, while the...

    Eternal Security

I know from Isaiah 9:6 that Jesus is the everlasting Father. He is YHWH according to that scripture. A man is comprised of spirit and soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). So by your own words Jesus is the Father, since you have recently admitted that His Spirit is the Father. I would go on...
