I hate myself, and hate being an atheist.

    Why is it your business?

Well, it wasnt so much about winning or losing. It was about building consensus and... entertainment. Hitch was a very good entertainer. But New Atheism died with him. The conversation was one that needed to happen in the 2010's. Non-believers were still being persecuted in America. Or maybe...

Frank never could prove it though. He debated Hitchens a few times over the years. Just hearing Christopher's voice again makes me feel nostalgic. :bigCeeze

If the opportunity arises, I will convey the message myself. Christians almost always attempt to manipulate me emotionally. Whether that was your intention or not, that is how I interpreted it.

Your attempts at emotional manipulation do not sway me, Matthias.

For not believing in something. That sounds like a punishment ISIS would dream up. No. I'll be dead, just like everyone else. We are primates that evolved over millions of years. Our fate will be the same as the dinosaurs in all likelihood. Think about it. If you receive a head trauma, it has...

    No way home

I did not know this. No more scrolling then. My index finger thanks you. :D Certainly not. All of the infighting among Christians is exhausting. But they seem to live for it.

    No way home

Indeed. You'd think this would be therr busiest part of the forum. Christians are commanded to share the good news and interact with non-Christians as much as possible. But they don't. Instead they choose only to mingle with each other. They sure do love preaching to the choir.

    No way home

Well, we are at the bottom of the forum. Even though it takes a bit of scrolling to get here, you'd think Christians would visit just out of boredom. Or curiosity.

That's what happens when you eat apples.

    Dark site theme

It's not really changing it. It's just another option. :D

For what it's worth, I'm tempted to eat a donut right now. :confused

    Dark site theme

I think having the option for each user to choose would be best. Ideally I would prefer a dark grey theme as opposed to pure black. Something like this...

    Dark site theme

Just some food for thought. Most sites now are switching to dark themes that are easier on the eyes. I don't know who the site admin is that's in charge of that. But I think it's something worth looking into. :gd

    What would you do?

    Televangelists, too.
  17. Riven

    What would you do?

But this could be interpreted in a million different ways. All are alive implies no death. Oh, yeah. I've gone down that rabbit hole many times. It's logical to seek answers from those that have experienced death and come back to tell the tale. But the accounts differ so greatly that I find it...

    What would you do?

But if such is the case, then the resurrection would be to us instantaneous upon death, right? The same as when you're out under for surgery and wake up immediately after losing consciousness.

    It's a funny thing...

    The path to redemption.
