A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

The death of Jesus caused the daily sacrifice and oblation to cease. The little horn took the daily sacrifice away by destroying the temple.

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

Are you saying that the “prince that shall come” is Jesus? I hope not because that would be saying that Christian’s (the people of Jesus) would be the ones to destroy the city and the sanctuary.

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

Nowhere in the Bible is the serpent identified as “The Antichrist”. In fact nowhere in the Bible is “The Antichrist” mentioned. The only reference to antichrist is the spirit of antichrist defined as anyone who denies that Jesus is the Christ.

The Two Witnesses Came and Went Thousands of Years Ago

I agree. God took their souls and spirits and the body stayed behind. As I’ve said before that’s how all believers leave here and go to be with the Lord and that’s why Jesus said whoever believes in Him shall never SEE death. Jhn 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he...

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

No it doesn’t. Where do you see anything about an antichrist in Daniel 9? The prince that was to come was a person, the person responsible for leveling Jerusalem for killing their Messiah.

What do you mean by spiritual princes? I don’t understand what point you’re trying to make.

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

The entire prophecy is about Jesus, the prince to come is an explanation of what would be done to the people who cut him off.

One - Jesus. The prince that shall come was a literal person.

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

Im saying that you can’t prove one way or the other based on grammar. The only we way to know what “he” is referring to is by understanding who confirms the covenant and who died in the middle of that week. The prophecy is Jesus confirming the covenant God gave to Abraham by dying on the cross...

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

Honestly, grammar can't be used to settle the "he" in Daniel 9:27. People lean on the "nearest antecedent" rule to point it at "the prince that shall come" but that's a tendency, not a law. Pronouns skip the nearest noun to point at the main subject all the time, and that's perfectly legitimate...

The Two Witnesses Came and Went Thousands of Years Ago

They weren’t taken to the third heaven, they were taken to Abraham’s Bosom/Paradise. The same place all Old Testament believers went when they left this world.

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

Im full everything has been fulfilled but I don’t adhere to Preterism. Most of the beliefs of Preterism theology are wrong in my opinion.

I disagree but thank you for the reply.

I don’t see it that way but out of curiosity, how is Jerusalem being trampled by the Gentiles spiritually?

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

I don’t understand how “the times of the gentiles be fulfilled” would ever be interpreted as a time when Gentiles will not be saved. The end of the times of the gentiles is talking about the gentile armies God used to judge Israel. That time ended in 70AD with the destruction of Israel.

    Christian Nationalism

Yep I agree. Cognitive dissonance is why some people can’t see it… it’s too scary to accept who our rulers are and what they are doing to us.

Yes I have and I’ve seen that interview.

    Burial vs Cremation

Interesting reply, never heard that view before. What do you think Jesus meant here? Luk 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
