(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

Truth717 noted: Dispensationalism Sure: 1. Egypt, 2. Assyria, 3. Babylon, 4. Persia, 5. Greece, 6. Rome, 7.Millennial Kingdom. That is a "dispensary" of nations. In my view: o. "Time no longer" (Revelation 10:6) is an idiom meaning "no further delay." o. Time is not an entity, rather time is...

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

IMO: The 7-year clock for Jesus's return starts with the arrival of a charismatic leader (antichrist), who brokers a peace agreement between Israel and Middle-Eastern countries. At the midpoint of the 7 years he takes his seat in the temple, as though he were God (2 Thessalonians 2:4). At the...

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

IMO: "Great tribulation" (Matthew 24:21) begins at the midpoint (1/2 way) of the seventieth-seven tribulation (where seven = seven 360-day years, see Daniel 9:24-27). This great tribulation period is (1/2)*(7 years)*(360 days/year) = 1260 days. This is explained in Daniel 9:24-37.

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

"Time no longer" = "no more time before intervention by God," i.e. "no further delay."

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

    IMO: o. "End-times" = seven years, where year =360 days. o. First 3.5 years = tribulation. o. Then the rapture. o. Final 3.5 years = great tribulation.

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

IMO: The tribulation period is the first half of the "seven," the great tribulation period is the second half of the "seven." The two witnesses rise to heaven at the midpoint of the two sevens. The abomination of desolation occurs at the midpoint of the "seven," when the beast sits in the...

    holy laughter

Holey laughter = laughing when rain leaks through holes in the roof. Wholly laughter = nothing but laughter.

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

IMO: Jesus will return at the midpoint of the "seven" (years), where "year" = 360 days. "Earth" is Greek γη = "land," there was no concept of a spherical earth in Biblical times.

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

IMO: "Seven churches" in Asia (i.e. Turkey) are seven groups, each consisting of Christians gathered together. "Church" is Greek εκκλησια, from: o. εκ=out, o. κλησις = calling I.e. believers "called out" to serve the one true God, rather than serving mythological Roman gods.

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

IMO: The context here is a vision of the apostle John that is to be delivered to the seven churches in "Asia" (i.e. Turkey). The two witnesses (Revelation 11:4) are Enoch and Elijah, who never died. They were both taken to heaven (Hebrews 11:5, 2Kings 2:11), waiting to be called to this future...

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

The two prophets are described poetically as "lamp stands." They are Enoch and Elisha, both never died, rather they were taken to heaven.

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

IMO: The two prophets are Enoch and Elijah (who were both taken to heaven alive) calling down judgments upon the "land." "Land" is Greek γη ( Revelation 11:10). There was no concept of planet earth in Biblical times. This will take place in Jerusalem, in the Middle East. Enoch and Elijah both...

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

IMO: "Man of lawlessness" (2Thessalonians 2:3) has several other epithets: o. antichrist o. pseudo-Christ o. son of perdition o. little horn o. man of sin o. beast from the sea o. the Assyrian o. seed of the serpent o. number 666 o. false prophet o. false witness o...

(The Beast) & (The Two Witnesses) Will Be On This Earth Together For 3.5 Years (Then Cometh The End)

IMO: The 144,00 people (Revelation 11:7-8) are Jews and Gentiles who refuse to acknowledge the Anti-Christ as God, and are therefore persecuted. Satan hates God, and everyone/everything associated with God.

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

The Jewish temple was a proxy for the Presence of God. The Holy Spirit dwells within believers (1Corinthians 3:16).

Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2?

2Thessalonians chapter 2 explains when Jesus will return. Certain things will first occur: 1. Israel will be a country again (done). 2. The Jewish Temple will be rebuilt. 3. The rebuilding will be sanctioned by a leader known as "Anti-Christ." 4. Surrounding nations will attack Israel because...

    The Beast Revelation

Spiritual Israelite noted: <That does not mean we are responsible for Adam's sin> Apostle Paul noted: <For if many died through one man's trespass*...> (Romans 5:25) The Bible reasons that genetically we were "in Adam," therefore Adam's judgment of death fell upon all of us. The average age at...

    Understanding : Hebrews 12:6

IMO: We redeem ourselves by accepting the offer: For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever *believes* in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) On a higher level, God the Father draws us (John 6:44).

    Understanding : Hebrews 12:6

David Lamb noted: <to redeem us> IMO: o The Bible indicates that more than half the people who have ever lived will go to hell when they die (Matthew 7:23-14). o The Bible indicates that Jesus paid the price for those who believe in him (John 3:16). o. Jesus said, "No man comes to me unless...
