    The Beast Revelation

IMO: The mark of the beast is basically a credit card. Your credit card has a tiny electronic chip that is sensed by an electronic card reader. That same chip could be inserted into the wrist or forehead. It conveys your credit number to the card reader in an efficient way.

Revelation 13:12 says "everyone on earth, will be forced to worship the beast", does that mean everyone on earth needs to repent? (refuse to repent?)

IMO: o Antichrist is a human ruler supported by Satan and fallen angel. Satan (the dragon) gives him power and authority" (Revelation 13:1-10). o. The Bible says, "Satan roams the earth like a hungry lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1Peter 5:8). o Angels can choose not to be seen (2Kings...

    The Beast Revelation

IMO: Revelation 17:1-5 "woman" is said to be the city of Babylon, a great and wealthy city. The "beast" is said to ascend from the abyss. Presumably this is a fallen angel who was confined to the abyss when Jesus was resurrected. He is released in the end times, and he kills the two witnesses...

Revelation 13:12 says "everyone on earth, will be forced to worship the beast", does that mean everyone on earth needs to repent? (refuse to repent?)

WPM noted: >human being... has been alive on earth for over 2000 years> IMO: o. Antichrist = *human* ruler in the end times. o. Beast = fallen *angel* released from the pit ("abyss") in the end-times. Satan and his angels were cast down to earth long ago (Ezekiel 28:14-16). Angels and...

Revelation 13:12 says "everyone on earth, will be forced to worship the beast", does that mean everyone on earth needs to repent? (refuse to repent?)

IMO: The "earth" ruled by the beast is Greek γη = "land." There was no concept of planet earth in Biblical times. The beast is a Middle Eastern ruler whom some at the time will regard as the promised Messiah. The beast (a.k.a. "Anti-Christ") gets what's coming to him in Revelation 19:17:21...

    The Beast Revelation

Grafted branch asked: <Can you give us your view as to why fornication is a sin against the body but all other sins, including the mark of the beast, wouldn’t be.> Fornication involves the whole body in an intimate fashion. Other sins typically are not so bodily intimate. God created the body...

Help... the four creatures in front of the throne in Revelation

"Wick Stick noted: <Well, there's such a thing as will. Is there any such thing as un-free will?> IMO: We are created beings. We did not create this universe, we were placed here. In that sense we are puppets of the One who placed us here.

Help... the four creatures in front of the throne in Revelation

Wick Stick noted: <That’s not a good answer to a very serious claim that God created sin. You know that is not true… I hope!> Check out Romans 9:19, Isaiah 45.7.

Help... the four creatures in front of the throne in Revelation

Wick Stick asked: >Are you perhaps speaking of sovereignty, rather than free will? God is sovereign. People are not.> IMO: "Sovereign" stems from Latin "superior" = "to extend above" (Oxford Latin Dictionary). The characters in a novel have free will; the author wrote the book. God is the...

Revelation 13:12 says "everyone on earth, will be forced to worship the beast", does that mean everyone on earth needs to repent? (refuse to repent?)

Dan Clarkston noted: <darkened wisdom of mankind> That "darkened wisdom" is what gave us the internet, that you and I are accessing.

Revelation 13:12 says "everyone on earth, will be forced to worship the beast", does that mean everyone on earth needs to repent? (refuse to repent?)

Dave Clarkston noted: >Well, ain't that special that you have been trained in the darkened wisdom of mankind.> I hold a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, M.S./ PhD in Statistics. I am familiar with Latin, Greek, Hebrew and I study the Bible in its original language (Hebrew/Aramaic in the Old...

Revelation 13:12 says "everyone on earth, will be forced to worship the beast", does that mean everyone on earth needs to repent? (refuse to repent?)

Revelation 13:12 says "everyone in the land" (Greek την γην = "the land"). There was no concept of planet earth when Revelation was written. IMO this indicates the Middle East.

The FOUR HORSEMEN of the Apocalypse

IMO: Four horsemen: o 1. White horse = "the beast" (Daniel 2:41) o 2. Red horse = military conflict o 3. Black horse = famine caused by war o 4. Pale (χλωρος = greenish-yellow) horse = disease due to war "Fourth of the earth" (Greek ταρτον της γης) = "fourth of the land." There was no concept...

Help... the four creatures in front of the throne in Revelation

Wick Stick asked: <Well, there's such a thing as will. Is there any such thing as un-free will?> I suppose "no free will" equates to "unfree will." We are born, we grow up, we look around us, we shrug our shoulders, and we never ponder WHERE ALL THIS CAME FROM. One lady suggested to me...

Help... the four creatures in front of the throne in Revelation

If I write a story, and one of the characters dies when very young, is that the fault of the character?

    Revelation 4 interpretation

IMO: The four living creatures are Cherubim. Satan is a Cherub. This is a glimpse of the true temple in heaven. See Ezekiel, chapters 40-48.

Help... the four creatures in front of the throne in Revelation

    >@William Barton, I would ask you if you intend to reply to the post I sent you... Do you agree that sin is made by our choice or not? Thanks< 1. We are all actors in a play, *making choices.* 2. God wrote the play.

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

The claim is: >No such thing as a 1,000 year millennium on this earth as you've been shown "Several Times"> English " millennium" stems from Latin: mille =1000 + annum = year Hence 1000 years. See Revelation 20:1-6, "one thousand years."

the beast with seven heads and ten horns - the Roman Empire

Trekson explained: <Totally disagree, the concept of "apocalyptic" literature comes straight from the devil.> "The revelation [Greek αποκαλυψις (apokalupsis)] of *Jesus Christ, which God gave him.*.." (Revelation 1:1). Does that sound like Revelation 1:1 from the Devil!?
