The bible says there that even what he hath will be taken away and given to another.........that doesn't sound like salvation does it......it means that he lost it.

We will not be judged.........if we remain in Him til the end. Endure to the end. There is such a thing as the "proving of our faith". It gets tested and tried in the crucible of trials and tribulations.

Yes I agree we grow in spiritual discernment by the exercising of it. We can grow and increase in human perception too. But I don't believe the two are the same thing. And either way we can be mistaken.

Well, as I said it's like an alternate universe around here at times. Discernment comes from the Lord, not by being analytical.....but I can appreciate why someone would tend to be analytical given a confusing or contradictory family situation when they were young.
