Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

That’s God’s, and only God’s judgment. That’s why it's wise to fear. Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. (Prov.1:7; Prov 9:10; Ps 111:10) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Yes he did, but he was also fearful of becoming a castaway in 1 Cor 9:27. So yes, there is both waiting....a crown or outer darkness. God judges us according to our deeds/works (or as Epi says, "what we do with what we have been given"). I believe they buried their treasure. They didn't...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

IF you don't want to SEE dishonoured as "saved" that's on you...but let it be shown that you disagree with Paul in the scriptures. In your words, "turfed out"....from where?...God's kingdom...but they still have eternal life...isn’t that what they were after?? Remember, you reap what YOU sow.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

I'm not negating that one is saved from death to life by the grace of God, because, again, whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Rom. 10:13). After that transformation of life, it's about what WE DO. We reap what we sow. We will reap either honour or dishonour. Simple, but not...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Lizbeth, outer darkness is NOT available to UNBELIEVERS!! There are 2 possible outcomes for unbelievers: life and death. But a believer has passed from death to life...and now it is a question of honour or dishonour.

And the Kingdom of God and His household is about HOLINESS. We are called to BE holy as God is holy.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Again, what do you mean by saved?? Saved to what?? Since God is doing the saving, and that only happens at the end one one's life, no one can declare glory or honour in their salvation. That would negate the race of faith. He is saved to dishonour.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

....you rail against @Episkopos and his message, and now you incorporate it into yours??!!?!?! Might you be an unbelieving believer?? "Lord, I believe; help Thou mine unbelief." Mark 9:24

Ummm....you are on this thread...did you listen to the podcast in post #1??? Honestly @Lizbeth, you don't see yourself. :(

    Where?? I didn't see them.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

What do you mean by the "unbelieving"?? Would you mean like the unbelieving Isrealites who didn't enter in because of unbelief? Even after certain of the spies had a good report. They consciously chose to go with the unbelieving spies. God swore in His wrath that they would not enter into His...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

It couldn't be taken away if they didn't have it, right? It may "sound" that way, however, since that one was serving, meaning in the lord's house (it's a parable, thus, a small "l" for lord), and to be in the Lord's house one must call on the name of the Lord (see Rom. 10:11-12), that servant...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Yeah, I read the post quickly, I assumed he was speaking of the poorly translated verse in 2 Cor 5:21 where they use "God" twice in some translations.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Again, I can only point to what the scriptures say. The weeping and gnashing of teeth would be because one had buried their talent and they hadn't invested it. Matt 25:30 "And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Understand that...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

I did read his book. But I also read the Bible...[reading skills required! ;) ]... pure logic. This is what Paul teaches. I'm reading in Romans. It's actually available for ALL who read the Bible. Is it wrong to teach/repeat what is in the Bible even if it goes against our feelings/nature...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

I'm sorry you feel that way...but the ones going to outer darkness based on God's judgment which is just, as in righteous, were saved from death. That is saved. Rom. 10:11-12 says: "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call...

    Phariseeism in the Modern Church

So the Greek word dektos G1184 is used in Acts 10:35. The meaning is "accepted, acceptable." It doesn't say anything about being pleasing. "But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him." (I'm sorry, I don't know how to attach a file, I only have a...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Rom.10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Who am I to refute what the scriptures say. To quote Smith Wigglesworth, "The Bible says it, I believe it." If you are NOT DEAD, you have been saved. Now, back to my questions please.
