    The PARODY collection #1

Jack, the answer to your question is given in Jesus' story of Lazarus and the rich man.

    "A ticket to ride"

Yes, not holding a record of wrongs is God's M.O. The sheep and the goats thing, the wheat and the tares thing, the foolish virgins thing is one of self qualification as is the Revelation 6 thing where the planet is imploding and Jesus arrives on his rescue mission. The majority see a Lamb and...

    The PARODY collection #1

I've concluded for myself that Jack has no interest in resolution. He gets off on never ending accusations, particularly false and distorted accusations. If there were no accusations for him to make, there might be no reason for him to participate.

The deepest human desire. - The longing to be safe at home.

Yeah yeah. In my early years that stuff generated some confusion but since it has settled in my understanding that Jesus genuinely likes me (even though the idea still blows me out) the translation stuff is not such an issue. Since being assured that Jesus is the ultimate authority makes me take...

Really? I'm confident I'll be translated when Jesus comes.

The bible contains what percentage of 'ALL SCRIPTURE'? 2 Timothy 3:16

Interesting. I've never heard one even when I'm wrongly dividing.....at least according to some, and I must admit even according to myself. hmmx1:. I've too often used a crow bar instead of a scalpel.

The deepest human desire. - The longing to be safe at home.

Not intended to be cheap or mean, just direct and honest. I do understand this could be misunderstood and I take a risk that it is, but being Aussies as you say, take it on the chin and do a self honest evaluation. If it's true yet uncomfortable you have learned something. If it's not true then...

The deepest human desire. - The longing to be safe at home.

Too many words AJ. What is it with the need to make so many words? Is it thought that greater insight is communicated with volume? Consider all the many words you've made in all your posts and yet none have supplied any insight to shift my view in your direction. What they have done if anything...

The deepest human desire. - The longing to be safe at home.

Jesus discourse with Nicodemus is worth a reread. There are no prerequisites including theological understandings or none at all, there are no formulas. Jesus is presented to the person, God's Spirit impacts the heart and choices are made. People may have similar experiences or different. Some...

Did you get into conversation with him about it?

The deepest human desire. - The longing to be safe at home.

I confirm a similar experience. A switch which occurred pretty much instantly (that's another story) with a continuing experience as I grew in a new understanding. I didn't ask for it, I didn't control it, however my spirit was willing and things changed in my life overnight to the surprise of...

The bible contains what percentage of 'ALL SCRIPTURE'? 2 Timothy 3:16

You will confuse yourself when Jesus does not become the litmus for interpreting scripture. Christians generally have not been taught how to do this so they read and interpret the OT as if Jesus never existed. Do you know how to interpret scripture through the lens of Jesus?

The bible contains what percentage of 'ALL SCRIPTURE'? 2 Timothy 3:16

What does it matter who agrees with who? Do you want to control the show? We all stand on our own when it comes to being on the ball or not.

Question- "For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him.”

Did Jesus discriminate with Judas? Did Jesus wash the feet of Judas as a pretence?

Of what value is retribution against humankind to God? - Love your enemies?

Yes, we're all sinners, (removed) In our journey of discovery many errors in understanding are made and it behooves us not to cut the legs off a fellow journey man/ woman because he/she isn't in the same place we are. That said we are encouraged to have sufficient smarts to recognise when an...

The extortion gospel - "believe or burn" - not really a choice

What you think is deeper wisdom are only the deductions of human wisdom. To me that's uninteresting. What you consider nourishing is nothing more than a good thrash around in an ego pit. Maybe find the courage to point out your own flaws first, instead of those you deem others have?
