The deadly consequences of denying limited atonement !

Jesus death made all men savable, but only the elect receive the atonement. Today too many people confuse propitiation with atonement. Propitiation means the acceptable sacrifice, which Jesus is for all of mankind. but NT atonement means an erasing of sin and that is reserved only for the elect.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Unfortunately the gospel of the kingdom Jesus spoke o fhas big differences. It is not preached to offer salvation. It is preached during the 70th week of daniel. Jesus spoke that it is to be a witness to the nations. this is the same type of preaching John the Baptist did. He announced the...

Is the Message From God, or Is It Just Man Making Noise?

Excellent post. All of us are guilty of speaking fro ourselves. We love the Lord and wish to glorify him, but sometimes we get in the way.

BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF CHRIST

Here you are finally correct! John preached baptism for the kingdom being announced. Once that kingdom was withdrawn from that generation, Jesus spent His time preparing the Apostles for the building of the church.

But we do have to do somethings to advance our knowledge Paul said it in Timothy and all his epistles. It is our responsibility to study to be approved. God approves as we study. Salvation for us is free for Jesus paid the price, but growth in the Christian life comes from obedinece

    Is Marriage Worth It?

Many say marriage is a fifty/fifty covenant. It is not! It is a 100/100 covenant. A husband can truly be free to love his wife as christ loves the church when he knows she is busy respecting him and loving him in return. It does not excuse us from our obligation in marriage if our partner...

    KJV goof ups

I love the KJKV! I have used it for over forty years and I am so very comfortable with it. It also is the translation that has the most linguistic aids tied to it. However, when a KJV only guy came to me and challenged me ( I was reading teh NIV then), I challenged him. He gave me a book by...

    Is Marriage Worth It?

Marriage is the norm for men and women designed by God. Marriage is wonderful when we do it Gods way as spelled out in scripture. The problem lies is that when one or both of the spouses start looking for their own needs, things can and do break down.

Do we have free will or are we predestined?

free will vs. predestination is not about choices we make concernignhow we live on this earth as to eating, working, wearing et. al. What it does concern is how one gets saved. The unsaved have no free will for all are slaves to sin as Paul wrote in Romans 6. The bible is clear that the...

You call it fine to a point. where is that point? I would call being able to understand teh Word of god is revelation from god. As Paul worte, the natural man does not understand teh word. They may read it, rationalize it, even define it, but understand it and take it to heart? that takes...

By your answer do you mean "higher spiritual meanings"? If not, how do you test these revelations to determine if they are valid or merely angel of light deceptions? What is your standard? I have been walking with god for over 52 years now and still have not mastered all of the Inspired...

What exactly is ''resting'' on the Sabbath as to keeping it 'Holy'?

The Sabbath was given as a sign and covenant between god and Israel alone! To thei day, even belieivng Jews are called to keep the Sabbath. Exodus 31:12-17 King James Version 12 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths...

Believers who truly get saved do take all things to heart! Getting saved is a transformation from a carnal to spiritual person! But there is still the learning curve all believers must go through, by prayer, experience, fellowship and teh study of Gods word. Paul constantly exhorted people to...

    How to fast, simply put?

In bibilical numerology, 40 equates to ta time of testing and trial, but Jesus fasted forty days and nights.

    How to fast, simply put?

Well in teh belieivng church world, there are all sorts of fastings they say we can do, but biblically, it is simply not eating for X amount of days. It should be god led and not bound to a legalistic time frame or reason.

THE NEW BIBLES MAKE CHRIST A CURSE

Well if we are talking past and present in english, I would agree. But we are talking Greek here. And becoming here is used of the present tense of the writer, not us. So we should accept that in the English it is past tense. In the Greek it is aorist Participle Middle, and become is the...
