Do you admit that the gospel cannot change the world?

It can't really be denied that Christianity shaped the world. Where it didn't shape the world by conversion, it shaped the world by changing the spiritual dynamics. Requiring the creation of new stumbling blocks placed by devils to keep people from so easily coming to Christ to be saved.

Have you ever been a counselor of God? Who was God's counselor?

The closest thing I could find was this scripture. Exodus 32:10 Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation.” But this isn't taking council, in my opinion. Moses is acting as a friend and is standing in the gap...

A Thousand Witches Convene in MN | Carl Teichrib on What They Discussed

Technology by itself is just knowledge. Like God does not live in blueprints or the structures they inform us how to build.

A Thousand Witches Convene in MN | Carl Teichrib on What They Discussed

God does not live in temples made by human hands. There is nothing we can construct that he would enter. Humans are different because we are his creation and we can't even make one hair white or black. Acts 17:24

A Thousand Witches Convene in MN | Carl Teichrib on What They Discussed

I believe in the leading of the Holy Spirit, who may speak through others. If you take Spirit filled people out of the loop, you can be certain you will fall into error. An AI, even if super intelligent, will not arrive at the truth because it must be spiritually decerned.

That is throwing the baby out with the bath water. And it is not so bad that people are imperfect, because that also leads to seeking a personal relationship with Jesus, and to a proper order of prioritizing his will for the people the church alienates.

A Thousand Witches Convene in MN | Carl Teichrib on What They Discussed

Being unwilling to answer questions without passing judgement is a common complaint I've heard. I suspect that asking questions a minister doesn't know the answer to will reflect on them poorly. There is an unreasonable expectation for perfection held by many imperfect Christians, who themselves...

A Thousand Witches Convene in MN | Carl Teichrib on What They Discussed

@soberxp something funny about spiritual warfare? The last time I saw a large gathering of Christians praying for our nation, it was polluted by black ministers who refused to call out reverse racism, allowing unforgiveness to fester.

    As for Jesus

Usually I focus on the ten minas. And God expecting us to use our blessings. But the parable also addresses the rebellious.

    Potential

God can work through even conflicting and even evil wills. Like how he helped babalon to form an empire and set them against Israel in order to provide course correction.

    Potential

Forgive me if this is a bit speculative. I am dissatisfied with the premise upon which our understanding of reality is built. Potential is often viewed as an ethereal concept, possibilities that may be realized in the future. It is the fusion of chance and will over time. Or is chance an...

Are you sending your neighbors to Hell?

Where there is a will, there is a way. God is able to setup divine appointments. Though one's opertunity to respond to the gospel may be shorter than we think. Consider Elisha being called by Elijah. The Impetus was quickly shifted to Elisha. Elisha responded with great conviction. 1 Kings 19...

Do you like, dislike, or are neutral on Israel?

My tacit support for Israel is not a matter of likes or dislikes. But of God's faithfulness and evidence of his blessings upon Israel, and curses upon her enemies. Not to mention that as Christians we shouldn't yield to evil spirits that hate the Jews.

    Destroyers of The Earth

I don't believe there are two books being refered to here. A lesser one for life in the present earth and another for eternal life in Jesus Christ. Rather, a word from God is beyond our concept of eternal. Where did creation, including heaven, come from if nothing can change? Eternity would be...

Death Penalty: All in Favor? All Opposed?

If the cost were actually higher just because someone is on death row that would mean a different standard is being used.

Death Penalty: All in Favor? All Opposed?

And if we accept a substandard quality of justice due to the severity of the punishment that is a whole other problem.

Death Penalty: All in Favor? All Opposed?

It should be a decision for society to make, based on rather we can afford the expense of confining people for their whole life if they are too dangerous to release into society. I would prefer if we had the luxury of not needing to execute criminals. But if the alternative is to release...

    Destroyers of The Earth

Consider the warning at the book of revelation, that God may remove names from the book of life. Yet for all intents and purposes this book itself can be considered eternal. God is able to change anything about his creation at will.

    If You Linger

Cornelius the Roman centurion was baptized by Peter. The Ethiopian was baptized by Phillip. Galatians 3:26-29 26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor...
