Death Penalty: All in Favor? All Opposed?

Well, to be clear, I regard that as being God's wisdom concerning governments, but not the church. The church should not be embroiled in and invested in worldly government/political affairs.. We are only instructed to pray for those in authority (for their salvation and I believe also that...

Death Penalty: All in Favor? All Opposed?

Here are some scriptures to consider on this topic: 1Ti 1:8-10 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers...

Do you guys support Trump's war on Iran right now?

It was a cheeky question to ask on camera and Trump gave them a cheeky answer. And just to say the Japanese might not be racist so much as wanting to protect their race and tiny country from being hijacked and overtaken by other races/cultures....I would consider that to be a legitimate concern...

Do you guys support Trump's war on Iran right now?

The video isn't showing up for me for some reason. But sister, I just want to say in general........governments are God's arm of justice/judgment....as long as they are not acting unjustly. We can't expect governments of this world to behave like the church...otherwise there would be anarchy...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

Christ in us the hope of glory. "Investing" the measure we have received (parable of the talents). We're not supposed to dig out the foundation. But we do need to die to ourselves. The way up is down....I agree in the sense of humility and growing recognition of what we are without Jesus and...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

Trying to justify one's toxicity and bad behaviour............is not Godly sorrow that leads to repentance. No you don't know how I think. You keep forgetting, or conveniently pretend to. What you are saying is not how I think, at all. I agree with what you are saying about Bethel and...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

I just wonder what people are supposed to think when the tenor of someone's posts belies the holiness they purport to preach.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

Except that Amigo wasn't misunderstanding him, as was clear from his reply. Yes we do need to have fear of the Lord, and the church in general seems to have too little of that these days......but also let's not forget that the Lord is also merciful and kind and gracious....He knows that...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

"should SEEM to come short of it" I completely agree we should not assume we are walking in what has been imputed to us........we need to know and learn and honestly acknowledge the difference and seek to enter into and walk in all that has been so graciously imputed to us. The Israelites...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

I believe it is imputed to the believer at any stage along the way as long as we are following Christ.......we are not under the curse of the Law. My understanding from scripture is whether one fails to hold fast their confidence to the end, and grows weary to the point of giving up, or losing...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

I agree, subject to the Lord........as long as we don't throw the baby out with the bathwater as some do here.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

You are missing the point that Amigo is addressing the false belief and teaching that unbelievers can be saved by their own righteousness/good works.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

Just I think we must not forget that it also says in Heb 4 "we which have believed do enter rest". We have rested, ceased, from our previous evil works of iniquity. All true believers have entered His rest and yet at the same time are on the way there for those who haven't yet entered in...

Nurse Practitioner in Canada persecuted and lost everything during Covid for acting according to her conscience.

It is very sad seeing how when nations and churches cast off the Compass and Anchor of their soul (the Lord and His word) they don't know what is right and wrong, true or false, wise or unwise any more and become a prey.

Nurse Practitioner in Canada persecuted and lost everything during Covid for acting according to her conscience.

I agree brother...unfortunately it seems the lunatics are running the asylum now....everything is upside down from how it should be. Think it has always or often been this way in a fallen world, but with the Lord and Christianity there was a greater measure of blessing and protection from it...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 1

The carnal mind is enmity with God....it will and does lead astray. Too much splicing and dicing and dissection of the word with the carnal mind proceeds from pride and will lead astray........it leads to a messed up disjointed Picasso painting as opposed to a beautiful classic "realism"...

Michael King to be executed in Florida for 2008 abduction, rape, murder of young mother on March 17

So perhaps that 1A was an attempt to keep church and state separate....? I don't know your system very well. Does freedom of religion keep church and state separate? In any case, regardless of your constution and founding fathers etc.........we have the word of God.

Michael King to be executed in Florida for 2008 abduction, rape, murder of young mother on March 17

Here it is: Eze 22:26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them...

Michael King to be executed in Florida for 2008 abduction, rape, murder of young mother on March 17

Well God's word says differently. The Lord says we are to differentiate between the holy and the common/profane and keep them separate.

I understand where you're coming from, because I used to think the same. But I think we can expect that the more blessed a society is the more fairness and justice there will be. Corruption and incompetence are curses that come upon sinful societies, probably to the degree that they are...
