Is the Great Commission for every believer?

Aabsolutely! Otherwise, it would have ceased with the death of the apostles, and there'd be no church growth or continuity.

    How to Test the Spirits?

God doesn't tempt, but allows us to be tempted. James 1:13 13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

    SALVATION OF ANIMALS

How do YOU know where Jesus was that day? If he said he'd be in paradise, then he WAS in paradise irrespective of what YOU think. And parable or not, it still infers the continuation of consciousness upon death. Jesus would not mislead or confuse by any statement he made, parable or otherwise.

    SALVATION OF ANIMALS

Was the thief on the cross, who was promised would be in paradise with the Lord, taken there sleeping or to go to sleep? Likewise, was the rich man, in the story of Lazarus and the rich man, asleep or was he in torments of fire immediately upon death?

    SALVATION OF ANIMALS

Two examples of what happens to the soul which is the entity, or being you become. One is the example of Lazarus and the rich man, who found himself in hell. The other is the exact opposite which is the thief on the cross who was promised he would be on paradise with the Lord.

    Most accurate modern translation?

So what specifically are the issues with each of these?

    SALVATION OF ANIMALS

Just FYI: it's the spirit that returns to God who gave it, not the soul. Soul and spirit and two different things. Ecclesiastes 12:7—“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it” (KJV)

    Most accurate modern translation?

Examples? I'm cognizant of a few anomalies, but I still prefer the kjv and have used it for many years. I also compare scripture with the original language as well, i.e.; Greek via the Interlinear.

    SALVATION OF ANIMALS

Reading all the posts, debates, and definitive positions assumed, one must ask what are they based on? The bible is mum on this subject, and the bible addresses the sinful nature, fall, and redemption of man, not animals. Furthermore, animals can't sin, so, salvation is not a viable question...

How to get baptized? In the UK

For a starter, see the below. Washing of regeneration is a clear reference to baptism, and the 2 Cor scripture says "in Christ"; how does one get to be "in Christ"? We're baptized into Christ at which time our sins are removed and we become sinless as is a child at birth, and are added to the...

How to get baptized? In the UK

Being born again happens at the same exact time that you become a child of God, a Christian, and that happens when you're baptized into the body of Christ, the church, and your sins are removed. It all happens at the same time which is obvious when all scriptures are considered.

How to get baptized? In the UK

Hello. Just to supplement my previous reply to you regarding the church of Christ in the Uk. I see by a lot of the other postings and your questions that your perception of the church and Christianity is based on a view predicated upon the large institutional religious organizations you're...

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

Yes. When you look at the 3 John letters and Revelation, they are all supposedly written around the same time which is a pretty good stretch, and is indefinitive, covering a period before and after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD. For certain Revelation pertains to before the fall because John is...

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

That might very well be (or not), but that still doesn't address Rev 10:11 which lends credence to my op position.

Did John really write Revelation while on Patmos? Maybe not.

Read closely Rev 1:9 9I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Note the word highlighted, "was", that it's past...

Should we pray the Lord's prayer daily?

meaningless. Repetitive, scripted, etc, is no different than what Muslims do when everyone holds out their hands like they're catching water. Sincere prayer from the heart, not from script.
