    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

Respectfully, I only assume that everyone that was baptized was old enough to "hear, believe and repent". If the whole household was baptized, then the whole household heard, believed and repented. I believe that God has children, but no "grandchildren". Nobody is saved by the faith of their...

Christ is not married ... "Queen" by definition is the wife of the King. If we are really going to follow this analogy then: Who is the Bride of Christ? ... future Queen. First Eve: (Genesis 2) 21 So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to come over the man, and he slept. God took one of his...

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

It was a reference to 1 Corinthians 10: 23 “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything builds up. 24 No one is to seek his own good, but the good of the other person. 25 Eat everything that is sold in the meat market, without...

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

Technically, they (John the Baptist, then Jesus and the Disciples) preached "Repent, for the Kingdom of God is near/here." ... Baptism is how the people "repented". The message changed a bit after Acts 2 and the Road to Damascus (the Holy Spirit shakes things up whenever He arrives). :)

A thousand years, wow. Almost as long as burning Heretics was the TRADITION before men READ the Words of God in the 66 books that He authored and the Holy Spirit convicted them that was wrong, too. :) On a serious note, I envy you your "tradition". If your heart embraces it then you should...

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

"The claim is ECFs crediting Infant Baptism to Apostolic traditions." You (Catholics) failed to support YOUR CLAIM. It is not MY JOB to prove your claims false. The burden of proof rests with the one making the claim. One ECF claimed the tradition came from the Apostles ... three centuries...

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

It would not be enough. Rejecting the books that Jerome rejected would still make me "anathema" ... so I must violate my conscience and "eat meat dedicated to idols" even when MY CONSCIENCE tells me it is a sin to do so or YOUR POPE proclaims me "anathema". (PS. "Do not say that you are...

... ever read the Gospel of Thomas? Why not? (That is why I do not read "great biblical faith story of Susana in Dan 13".)

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

I never claimed they did. I only claimed that most of the ECFs quoted at me lived in the THIRD CENTURY (which IS "centuries after the Apostles" so John personally told them nothing) ... they just wrote about WHEN THEY LIVED (because the Flux Capacitor on their Delorian was broken). For writing...

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

Outside of the Bible, is there any evidence at all (one way or another) from the First Century? This sounds like an argument from silence.

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

You are speaking of the writings of the Church in the THIRD Century as if they were written in the FIRST Century. If you can HONESTLY Claim that traditions in the RCC have not changed from 1822 to 2022, then I will yield the point and if traditions have changed within the RCC from 1822 to 2022...

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

The claim is ECFs crediting Infant Baptism to Apostolic traditions. Irenaeus clearly states that Jesus became an infant to save infants. This is viewed by some as a clear early reference to Infant Baptism (which in my opinion is only a maybe since infant baptism is really NOT the focus of the...

Ok, I’ll play. Which ECF exactly and could you point to what he said (so I do not have to read all of his writings looking for a sentence or paragraph.)

Define “baptizo” … the Greek word from which we derive the English word “baptism” … then talk to me about “zero errors” in your man-made traditions.

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

Which Apostle “spoke” that to you in 383? (Again … my problem with your so-called “Apostolic” Tradition).

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

Yet … (which was my point against your “Apostolic” Tradition).

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

I am called bold for placing my opinions (interpretations of Scripture) above the teachings of the RCC … and you proclaim who God can and cannot justify.

[2 Thessalonians 2:13-15] But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain...

    Another Gospel “faith alone”!

In the revealed truth of Ephesians 2:1-10, when in the process (Ordo Salutis) am I justified? While I was dead and before God “made us alive”? Before or after the “gift of faith”? Not until after I have completed the last of the “good works”? That is the question that Sola Fide (Faith...
