Is it possible to lose salvation?

τὰ γὰρ ὀψώνια τῆς ἁμαρτίας θάνατος Because some wages of a sin death. Thanatos is the deprivation of life and prosperity. It is not nekros, i.e. decaying life. ἁμαρτίας is nominative singular feminine. Sin in translated a plural which is the biggest error. And he wasn't in the garden?

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Debt of our wrongdoings or sin. God always promises to fix what Satan breaks.

Is the New World Translation a valid version of the Bible?

But not the obsession with death. This has nothing to do with the real Samaritans of the biblical narrative and of the 1st century who used human models to worship YHWH.

Is the New World Translation a valid version of the Bible?

Whatever. You have only one verse which puts all 3 together in 3 names.

Is the New World Translation a valid version of the Bible?

So, the Samaritans believed their human statues were YHWH. How is this different than the trinity?

Is the New World Translation a valid version of the Bible?

Yes, I may similar beliefs in some ways, but most JW are unitarians who live in poverty of some sort. :)

Is the New World Translation a valid version of the Bible?

They took a typically English translation and made it crappier. There, I said it. I think upper middle for JWs?

Is it possible to lose salvation?

The early church had salvation through a rapture. We can't lose salvation because we don't have it. But we do have the promise of afterlife of heaven or hell.

But its members are poor and really don't help the world much.

Is the New World Translation a valid version of the Bible?

Try most. Yet that bias doesn't avoid 2 millenia old theology with medieval translation bias thrown. I do not believe the comfortably middle class generally join the JWs. Even worse is their interpretations of any bible. God gives only 144,000 the afterlife later, and perhaps only Jesus is...

Is the New World Translation a valid version of the Bible?

Actually you give the JWs too much credit knowing any Greek or Hebrew. They are so poor in monetary terms that they claim to have no time to study the bible in its original languages.

    Linguistics degrees are still overrated.

Is the New World Translation a valid version of the Bible?

While I doubt it is dogmatically related, that is still terrible. I don't know how it affects a JW. As far as it being [biased] crap, that is not the right answer. You can [also] get theological dogma from it that are contrarian to JW belief.

Enough to write a paper on semantics and grammar, but without credentials.
