The False vs True Gift Of Tongues

The facts are 1 Cor 13:8. All so called gifts have ceased and are no longer active nor necessary today

The False vs True Gift Of Tongues

So I take it as a yes response, that the people you know are performing miracles, healing the lame and straightening crooked legs, restoring sight to the blind, etc.

Which bible teachings do you think are made up by the church or true teachings of the bible?

Just look at the catholic church's beliefs and there you'll find a myriad of things

How to memorize the bible permanently?

Understanding it is far more important than memorizing it. Most people don't understand the bible which is obvious by their slanted, erroneous, views as evidenced by what they say and/write.

The False vs True Gift Of Tongues

So these people you know perform miracles, straighten crooked, deformed legs, give sight back to the blind, heal diseases, and more?

The False vs True Gift Of Tongues

You're casting out devils, healing the sick and the lame, performing miracles, prophesying, along with speaking in unknown earthly tongues, too, right?

The False vs True Gift Of Tongues

The facts are in the bible. Because people are babbling some incoherent nonsense that no one understands is not validation.

I will put my laws on their hearts

Unlike the laws of the OT, the listing of things, remedies, and rituals, etc, there are no such things under the new covenant, hence, they're written in your heart, and not merely a ck-off of things to obey as was the old.

Were angels created in the image of God?

As I stated, it's unknown and I would rather not speculate since it's of no value

Were angels created in the image of God?

Yes, God is spirit (no 'a' before spirit). And there's nothing in scripture that says that angels were created in God's image. To say so would be only speculation based on nothing. Satan is referred to as an angel of light 2 Cor 11:14. Also, the dragon and his angels fought with Michael and his...

    Jesus kept the Sabbath

Jesus lived under the law and fulfilled the law, hence the sabbath. The sabbath has nothing to do with the new testament or Christianity.

What are the main doctrinal differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and mainstream Christianity?

Just for clarity, John 4:24 is a bad translation as in the KJV. Its not "God is a spirit", but rather God is spirit. Big difference. God is spirit means he is the life force, energy, the breathe of life, etc., as opposed to a spirit. Look at other translations as well as the interlinear. Even...

    Understanding 1 Peter 3:19

Your body eventually rots away and returns to the dust that it came from. Has nothing to do with resurrection of it. I'm sure God has the ability to put the pieces back together o matter how minute. Look, that's what the scriptures say. If you don't accept it, that's your business.

    Understanding 1 Peter 3:19

No scriptural support for that. Body back to the ground. Spirit back to God. The soul is left which then has 2 alternatives. Heaven or hell.

    Understanding 1 Peter 3:19

The spirit is the breath of life. Pneuma is breath in Greek. God breathed the breath of life into Adam and he became a living soul. Gen 2:7 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

    Understanding 1 Peter 3:19

What does the false doctrine of universalism have to do with it? Absolutely not. The bible is very clear that all aren't saved, but rather "few there be that find it".

    Understanding 1 Peter 3:19

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Ecclesiastes 12:7 7Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
