Strength and Honor: Triumphing over Feminism

The Bible makes this clear, degree or no degree. I don't disagree. The Jews have a special covenant with God and they were supposed to be guarded about it. I just don't see how this supports feminism. I don't believe you can change the Bible's intentions to fit modern times. The time period...

Strength and Honor: Triumphing over Feminism

Christian feminism? What exactly is that? Im asking for clarity's sake. Feminism is an opposing reaction to patriarchy but the Bible says patriarchy is good. Christian patriarchy protects women and children. Christians men have done this in an honoring way and helped women before feminism.

Strength and Honor: Triumphing over Feminism

Many front runner feminists (Betty Friedan, Simone de Beauvoir) worked very hard to persuade women that they ought to compete with men in the workforce in order to avoid giving men too much power and control over them. The feminist movement is not about giving equal opportunities for women. It...

Strength and Honor: Triumphing over Feminism

Adding a newborn son to our family has taught me so much. Ive felt so tired, weak, and helpless from pregnancy and labor. Ive never been so grateful to have support and the strength of others in my entire life. We were made to need help and depend on each other. Life is too hard and too cruel...

    What is Modesty Really?

Enjoy shopping! As far as waist bands, lately Ive been finding more dresses that have a looser waist that are still very beautifuI. I needed them for pregnancy. Love Olive and Modest Molly are clothing websites that come to mind with dresses like that but thrifting has never failed me. I've...

    What is Modesty Really?

I couldn't have said this better. Yes. the womam was made for the man! Women are naturally attractive because we have obvious differences from men that complement the man. The only way a woman could even try to get rid of all male attraction would be to erase her feminine features. Its not...

    What is Modesty Really?

It's unfair to judge modesty based on whether a man looks or not. Dressing modestly can cause a woman to stand out if the other women are immodest. Women will attract make attention regardless because God made men and women attracted to one another. This is a good thing. Some attention is...

    What is Modesty Really?

I understand and respect those who reject form fitting clothes. I know a few sisters who won't display clothes fitted to the waist. But I don't see avoiding attention of the opposite sex as altogether possible or clearly commanded by Scripture. I believe its fine to dress in a way your husband...

I had a son...plus thoughts on my life

My distrust of people had grown so strong, I never wanted to share baby pictures on social media publicly. But I like you guys. Ozaias was born 12:56pm November 9th, 2024. He weighed 7lbs 4oz. He's amazing and tiny and I really like his face!

Strength and Honor: Triumphing over Feminism

I thought you said many men don't want to live up to society's expectations because it's too much. It takes time, experience, and trial and error to delegate well for good results. Leadership is hard because when things go wrong, it's the leader who is to blame, not those following the lead...

Strength and Honor: Triumphing over Feminism

Just thinking through, I don't think desiring homemakers to be respected is the same as envying the respect men get. As much as I see running a household as respectable I don't agree with Oprah"s sentiment that motherhood is the hardest job there is. What my husband does as a trucker or the men...

    A BIG ASK

There's nothing like our Father's love. It's so unshakeable and constant. It guides, convicts, and encourages.
