    What is Mystery Babylon?

It doesn't take any time to die in God's economy. Certainly not 40 years. It is instantaneous. Progressive sanctification? No such thing. The reason why such doctrines exist is to NOT pay attention to the gospel. It's just....one day you will be holy. Of course no one actually believes that. But...

    What is Mystery Babylon?

A person is clean until they become unclean. Try going a few weeks without a shower. Being born again is a SAMPLE of grace. Why is it a sample? Because there is no way we...with our still carnal minds, habits and outlook, can possibly last very long in a state of holiness (grace). That's why...

    Random Acts of Kindness

This is where the proof is in the pudding, so to speak. If you resist the truth it doesn't matter where you come from. Again Paul called the Galatians foolish because they indeed started in the Spirit. You need training...since you are not able to mature yourself while you have those ideas of...

    Random Acts of Kindness

You assume that having begun in the Spirit one must necessarily continue in the Spirit. That is a very naive way to think about it. Why did Paul get on the Galatians case about trying to be perfected some other way? How could Jesus spit out the Laodiceans? You have not been properly discipled if...

    Random Acts of Kindness

Why are you, and others, so sensitive about what the bible teaches? Paul said.."It is no longer I, but Christ"...It is no longer EGO... People will speak of all the benefits they have received but never admit the warnings in the bible are for them...to help them to forsake iniquity. The...

    Random Acts of Kindness

Jesus said "greater love has no man (ADAM) than this...that he lays down his life for another" What He did NOT say is..."No one can love so much that they lay down their life for another. You need first to be born again....or become doctrinally aware..." We are all created in God's image in...

    Random Acts of Kindness

Again, amen. If people were incapable of loving others as themselves, there would be no possibility of any laws from God. No judgment would be fair. We would be INCAPABLE of understanding anything of the ways of God. What I find many modern evangelicals do is that they negate ANY love is...

    Random Acts of Kindness

Amen. I see this is how the two main commandments (loving others AND loving God) are related. Loving people that we see helps us to understand how we can love God whom we don't see. And the higher love of Christ...so sacrificial and so not counting the cost of serving Him...is seen in very small...

    Random Acts of Kindness

Yes. I see random acts of kindness as a more basic form of "disinterested benevolence" which means that a person is obediently waiting on the Lord before doing sacrificial acts for others. Jesus is the prime example of "disinterested benevolence." This speaks of a vast spiritual maturity. Jesus...

"Christians don't know what they believe." - until they are brainwashed

Not at all....just being specific. :)

"Christians don't know what they believe." - until they are brainwashed

The only problem with that is that there are MANY decoys out there. If the person has a job title saying "pastor" in a building labeled as "church"...that's a decoy. Spiritual gifting doesn't come with titles.

    Understanding and Believing the Gospel

Many will CLAIM to be born again the same way they claim everything in the bible that sounds positive to them. It's "name it and claim it" for these. I can tell if a person is truly born again by whether they also accept the warnings that come with bible reading. If they justify themselves...

"Christians don't know what they believe." - until they are brainwashed

That depends who you hang with. I agree with your idea...but there are still spiritual brethren around...as few and far between as that may be. No use in forsaking religion to also forsake sound doctrine. God has given the Body, teachers and prophets....for growth in Christ. Peace.

There Are No People In Heaven / The Kingdom.

How can you know that? There are always a few in the world who walk in the higher calling. These don't draw attention to themselves...they are selfless because they are dead in Christ...so that they walk in resurrection life. They would appear weak to people.

I'm starting to move away from "pretend Christianity"

there you go...some sect pretending to be right. Judaism has been around a lot longer...and it seems also to be functioning well. But is God in it?

I'm starting to move away from "pretend Christianity"

A state of mind? You are in no position to judge what is biblical. Have you read the bible? The future kingdom is not a spiritual realm...as it is now. The kingdom realm is coming to earth in the next age. The transition period is the Millenium...where people get to rebel against God's order...

I'm starting to move away from "pretend Christianity"

I think you are right. The religion of men has failed. But the kingdom of God is still there...to be entered into by faith. Not religious beliefs...but real faith. Faith that God accepts (not men) Modern Christianity is supported by religious beliefs....that differ widely. What is common among...

    What is Mystery Babylon?

The hardest prison to escape, is the one created by your own mind. Stop limiting God to your own imagination.
