    Jesus as God

First, the Vaticanus is an early manuscript, around 340 AD. Second, Burgon's talks about the Traditional text as if its corruption is any different than any other manuscript. All manuscripts have many corruptions. The Textus Receptus is not at all how you describe it. Have you ever don't any...

    Jesus as God

The New World Translation and many of the new versions are based on Westcott and Hort, dig a little below the surface and you will be amazed at what you find how Westcott and Hort persuaded scholars of the Revision Committee to switch to the corrupted Alexandrian text for the new version. The...

    Jesus as God

Found this article on the Internet. It has some good thoughts in it. Bear in mind that the reason I am certain that Jesus is God is because I translate the scriptures literally. For the same reason I am a dispensationalist. here's the article: The third chapter of Exodus describes the...

    Jesus as God

Part 2 The Gospel of John contains at least two, and probably three, statements explicitly identifying Jesus Christ as God. The first of these statements comes in the very first sentence of the book: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (1:1). "Word"...

    Jesus as God

Part 1 'The New Testament does not often call Jesus "God." Contrary, though, to - what some people argue, it does assign that name to Jesus several times. In this chapter, we will examine several key texts that are the subject of much debate. We shall see that in most of these texts the...

More on the deity of Christ

More again on the deity of Christ. The Names of God So far, we have seen from the Bible that Jesus Christ is entitled to the Honors - that are due to God (such as worship, prayer, song, faith, and reverence) and that he possesses the essential Attributes of God (such as being eternal...

More on the Attributes of God the Father and Jesus

This is a continuation of the deity of Christ (see the other articles on this topic) In our discussion of Christ's divine attributes, we have seen that he is described in general terms as having the nature of God. Indeed, Scripture states that he is exactly like God (or the Father) and that...

Indisputable proof that the Premillennial theory contradicts Scripture

Good! That is my point, he was not elected to salvation.

Indisputable proof that the Premillennial theory contradicts Scripture

True, but again, nothing to do with salvation. Not salvation here. You already believe that whenever you see election, you see salvation. No salvation. In the whole OT, you could not find one example of election referring to salvation. Already saved Elizabeth and Mary Nothing to do with...

Indisputable proof that the Premillennial theory contradicts Scripture

I was challenged some time ago to do a study on election, which I had already done. But, during that study, I could not find one verse in the OT that used the term election for salvation. In every instance, election is to service, not salvation. So, I continued in the NT. I realized Judas was...

    Question for everybody

To have omniscience is to be a Member of the Godhead. So, yes, an omniscient Being will also have all the attributes of deity.

    Question for everybody

Omniscient. Can you have omniscience without all-powerful?

    Question for everybody

The question is a simple one but the answer may be difficult. Question: Can an Omniscient Being have faith?

Indisputable proof that the Premillennial theory contradicts Scripture

You are incapable of humility. My corrections were biblical and grammatical, and somewhat insignificant. And yet all you do instinctively is to criticize.

Indisputable proof that the Premillennial theory contradicts Scripture

I just wanted you to feel the impact of your position. I honestly believe that you are not a serious student of scripture. Your inability to see the other side of the theological spectrum is evident in your many posts. What humility you have!!!

Indisputable proof that the Premillennial theory contradicts Scripture

I didn't think of Christ being God when I accepted him as Savior. In other words, nowhere do we read that a person must accept the deity of Christ to be a believer. I was just making a point. I didn't think you would get it.
