    Church councils?

There was in fact a council at Jerusalem because it was the only church and first church established but it had no power or authority over other congregations established elsewhere. And the only early church writings that have any validity are the scriptures of the bible. And you are...

The problem with Phil. 2:6, 7

In general terms, there is no problem with any scripture, only man's inability to understand or accept that which was written. The problem is with man.

    Church councils?

Youll find no such universal organization in the NT nor authority of anyone to bind anything on anyone, or things that aren't bound on Christians by the word of God. Church congregations are autonomous and self governing in accordance with the scriptures, abd the outline prescribed thereby, or...

    You Probably Believe This Lie

Read the account of Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8. He was a baptized believer meaning he was saved and was told to repent or perish because of his sin.

Where did the holiday Christmas come from?

You're not making good sense. The question is about the origin of Christmas, which has been turned into a supposed religious holiday with it's origin being scriptural, which it isn't and untrue. You can believe the falsehoods if you like and give undue reverence to that day if you like, but that...

Where did the holiday Christmas come from?

Not the bible, so if not the bible it has to be man.

How do you become a child of God?

But it also was a baptism for the remission of sins as described in Acts 2:38. It's identical to the baptism of John as per Luke 3:3 the difference being baptized into Christ in Acts 2:38 for the remission of sins which also gives you the gift of the Holy Ghost and the Lord adds you to the...

is there air in heaven , trees , water , atmosphere and such and SUN

Read Rev 21 et al again and more carefully. It's describing new Jerusalem not heaven which "is descending out of heaven from God:. Rev 21 10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

How do you become a child of God?

Simple. Same process as being saved, being added to the body of Christ, the church, becoming a Christian. It all happens simultaneously.

    Was Jesus Eternally Tormented?

Question makes no sense. Was is past tense, eternal is timeless.

    The Doctrine of Baptisms

Your 1st point is not really accurate and is therefore misleading and can skew your understanding of baptism. See the interlinear as well as other translations other than the kjv. The interlinear says in one spirit, not by. Makes a difference.

    13 Bible baptisms

Read the interlinear for a better translation of 1 cor 12:13 which says "in one spirit" not "by one spirit". The interlinear is correct, not the kjv. You receive the spirit upon being baptized, not before.

    Once believing always believing

Not sure what point you're trying to make exactly, but you seem to be inferring that your belief is sufficient for your salvation. If that's the case, you're wrong and inconsistent with scripture. It takes more than simply belief and faith to be saved. If you believe and have faith, then you...

    13 Bible baptisms

To the OP. You've mixed and and conflated many things here on the subject of baptism only to not prove your point. Ephesians 4:5-6 says there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism. And that one baptism is the one that's important. Baptism is transliterated from baptizo, meaning to dip, plunge...

Don't call yourself a Christian when you live like the world.

Juse for clarity, beibg a Christian and being worldly are two distinctly different things. You can be a Christian and yet be worldly, possibly meaning you're not a good Christian, but nevertheless, a Christian. The process of becoming a Christian has nothing to do with how you carry yourself or...

How to understand : God's Foreknowledge

I never said he causes you to make the choices that you make, only knows in advance that you'll make them.

How to understand : God's Foreknowledge

Something I've posted here and elsewhere on this subject Predestination (based upon the foreknowledge of God) Premise: God knows the beginning and the end, so therefore he must also know all that will occur within the entire expanse of time including everything that will occur in the middle...

    Infant baptism biblical?

Clearly only adults as they only have the ability to hear, believe, confess, repent and then be baptized. Children don't have those capabilities Acts 5:14 14And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

    Sola scriptura?

Edit: please disregard this jim.b as I thought it was meant for me DJT_47 but was apparently for theefaith. Sorry. My comment however is pertinent. I understand perfectly that it's Latin nonsense and those that use such idiotic words do so in a vain attempt to demonstrate their supposed...
