@quietthinker There are certain things that are definitely hard to explain, for example, why does someone's baby die before birth in a miscarriage, etc. There could be a number of reasons these things happening, I guess.

Just trying to type this out correctly, don't know how to word it, but there are also certain people, like His prophets, that God may reveal to them too, that know the reasons.

Also was going to say, God does allow certain things to happen, only He really knows the reasons. But we are reminded about Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

@Cristo Rei here is the thread, not too many reports of building damage. Have not seen pictures of any other damage except for the Chapel Street building so far, biggest quake in 200 years for Victoria they reckon. And the biggest quake in Australia since 1997.

Was changed from 6.0 down to 5.8, now it has been revised up to 5.9 magnitude. And there has been 5 after shocks after the main earthquake so far.

Not too sure, but there haven't been 12 for a while now, not sure how many are remaining
