The USA gets less than one percent of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Other countries get 90, 95, 35 percent...most of it going to Asian countries. So they should help in sending mine sweepers...that is very little to ask of them.

I heard today that the U.S. gets less than one percent of oil via the Strait of Hormuz. Whereas other countries get 95%, 90%, 35% of their oil through the Strait. Most of it going to Asian countries. So it reasonable to expect them to help patrol the Strait.

Here in Los Angeles they don't euthanize animals unless they are definitely a threat. The home owner (where the bear had her den) was upset that animal control caught her and the cubs. He said the bear and cubs would have moved on in a few weeks.
