Once saved, always saved is a myth.

You have believed a lie. And If your lie isn’t true, your deduction is that the scriptures would be a lie??? What a mess!

    Understanding : Under Grace

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

It’s in you as long as you continue in the faith grounded and settled (Colossians 1:23). I rather learn from Jesus himself what the kingdom of God is: “And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed…”...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

The kingdom of God is the gospel, it’s the spiritual realm. “…the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21) And we are threatened not to fall away into sin again or we will not inherit it in its full glory in the end: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

How did you come up with this statement? The Kingdom of God is most certainly not now. One false doctrine breeds another I see…

They are one in the same! Where else will one spend their eternal life???

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

If you pick up your cross you are! Jesus himself says so!! And the apostle Paul said so too!! “…we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God...

"10 Commandments" vs. "The Mosaic Law"

Well in that case he’s out of line.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

“…he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.” (Matthew 10:38) So you’re suggesting that one can be both saved and not worthy of Christ at the same time??? :contemplate:

"10 Commandments" vs. "The Mosaic Law"

That’s just a literal rendering of the Hebrew word translated as “commandment” if I’m not mistaken. I wouldn’t explore the rabbit hole of the original languages if I were you.

"10 Commandments" vs. "The Mosaic Law"

Why? Is he not a beloved brother in your church or not? Is the very smallest financial help possible (without bankrupting the church) not reasonable?

"10 Commandments" vs. "The Mosaic Law"

“For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Ya’ll the ones who get riled up when someone like myself simply posts the scriptures that expose the lie of eternal security/once saved always saved. The Once Saved Always Saved sect have been trained in dealing with all of the warning passages. It destroys one of the things that keeps men...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

The point that @Eternally Grateful made about love would have been my eventual course had it not been for his abrupt protest.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

We are not under the law because we are supposed to be in the Spirit. When we are in the Spirit it is impossible to sin. But if you’re in the flesh with only a superficial claim to be in the Spirit then you most certainly have put yourself under the weak and beggarly elements of the law wether...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Love is the only way to obey every commandment of consequence regarding our salvation. I was just taking baby steps with @Ritajanice

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

“The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off: That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare...
