"Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."

God tells us to repent be baptized ...and stay prepared. I doubt an excuse of not having time would be accepted....would you? I would not chance it.

Baptism wasn't required under the old covenant. Keep it in context.

"Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."

Study your bible; There is nothing in the Bible that tells me he was not baptized. But, he was under the old covenant {old testament} so that doesn't fit. Baptism wasn't required then as it is now under the new covenant {new testament}. We must be careful not to take the bible out of context.

    Faith alone

Did Jesus remove all the sin from the world?

Acts 2;38....Repent and be baptized..... Is a requirement and the one that completes ...........sin cleansing .....to be ....born again.

Did Jesus remove all the sin from the world?

Per the Bible, I think he is referring to baptism which is required for ...completion ...of the sin cleansing process.
  15. G

Did Jesus remove all the sin from the world?

It means, His presence providing forgiveness ...under the umbrella of Grace........thru repentance, baptism now available, ....sin is dealt with/handled...too righteousness. Symbolic of ...done with, taken away, removed from effect, etc.

Poll: Do we worship the God of the old covenant?

There is only one God. Therefore our Creator GOD is of both covenants.

A convicted Christian knows that satan may deceive in any way he is allowed...and that is a pretty wide spread. For example...study Job.
