Paul was telling the church that this is how to recognize a true apostle versus a false one. They were conduits for God to manifest signs, wonders and miracles through. My point is they themselves did not have any power without God. The gifts are His not theirs.

Why do people keep calling the gifts "apostolic" gifts when in truth the Bible says the Holy Spirit manifests His gifts in the body of Christ. I have not read one scripture that mentions the apostolic gifts. I have read several scriptures that mentions the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
