    Questions for Sabbatarians

No it's all His doctrine and He gave the Ten Commandments and never repealed one of them. .

How did Jesus keep from sinning?

    Fair enough  .

    Questions for Sabbatarians

Whew! I'm glad you're okay with it because I've been doing it for 34 years without the benefit of your permission. I'm not upset at all about people believing and practicing their faith according to the dictates of their own consciences because I'm a really enthusiastic promoter of religious...

    Questions for Sabbatarians

No worries, it was a courtesy reply. The hostility is off the charts here. To you as well, Sis! .

How did Jesus keep from sinning?

Or, worse yet, I could find myself questioning my established dogma. .

How did Jesus keep from sinning?

I don't know why, only, that this is what he did write. But I don't have any issues with that. Maybe it wasn't a figure of speech, and he actually meant "we," in the absolute sense. I'm getting a bit of a flashback here about literal interpretation. .

How did Jesus keep from sinning?

Then why didn't he say: "If you say" or "If a man say?" Is this a fair question? .

How did Jesus keep from sinning?

The Sinner/Saint argument is a paradox that Christians refuse to accept. There is no excuse for sin of any kind. But because we know we do so, we neither confirm nor deny it. Unless we are speaking of it to someone other than ourselves. .

How did Jesus keep from sinning?

By the way, we certainly are not—only better off. ;) .

How did Jesus keep from sinning?

And what did God do? Did He not continue to protect all who looked to Him and had not fully turned their backs on Him? What of Uzzah? Are we to believe he forfeited Heaven for trying to protect the ark from defilement, however rashly his strict duty was forgotten? .

    Questions for Sabbatarians

@Big Boy Johnson We're all individuals, trying to make our way through the maze of traps the devil has set for us. Some of us meet together;have common beliefs. We're not robots—we're humans. You're one, too. .

How did Jesus keep from sinning?

Yeah, evidently we slip in and out of a "saved" state constantly. I hope I wasn't guilty of any sins of ommission since I last checked. Or would I even know? .

How did Jesus keep from sinning?

Wind of doctrine #978,426 This is what has become of the incessant tendency of man to search for a loophole to convince himself that God doesn't mean what He says when He says: Obey and live; Disobey and die. The conditions of eternal life are the same today as they ever have been: Perfect...

From the pen of Ellen White

This is, by far, my favorite: What Was Secured by the Death of Christ It became Him for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in the redemption of the world to save sinners by the blood of the Lamb. The great sacrifice of the Son of God was neither too great nor too small to...

From the pen of Ellen White

Here's something I've been reading in Patriarchs And Prophets: The Ziphites, into whose wild regions David went from Keilah, sent word to Saul in Gibeah that they knew where David was hiding, and that they would guide the king to his retreat. But David, warned of their intentions, changed his...

    Questions for Sabbatarians

It's clear from your dismissive analysis that you don't know much of anything about the way the average Adventist keeps the Sabbath, BB. It's so easy to criticize people who are doing the best they can. That's a universal principle. You would think that brothers in Christ would be encouraging...

    Joel Osteen is extraordinarily amazing!

I met him once. And he took about 20 minutes out of his time to chat with and pray for me. And here he is now: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLf-IpRZKhBRjJhkm6omWfVzAKewFCai3P&si=xhsEeOSYgL03Y7st  .
