    A Spirit of Unbelief

All have sinned. Even the righteous sin. But righteousness is not about perfection...it's about honesty and contrition. Holiness is about having no spot or wrinkle of sin...not righteousness.

We can have faith in God in spite of our beliefs. That's the test of faith. Our beliefs get in the way of faith As in..I believe Lord, help thou my unbelief. We can stop limiting God. There is a gift of faith from God, yes...to do things on a miraculous level. But we are to walk by faith in...

    A Spirit of Unbelief

The test of our faith is not to have a belief that states we are accredited perfection even as we fail as any human fails. Beliefs don't give us the power over sin. But grace does. Faith brings grace....to the humble. The test of our faith is whether we trust in God to empower us to overcome...

What happened to..."I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me?" Caleb and Joshua were different than the other Israelites they sojourned 40 years in the wilderness with. What was that difference? They had faith. They knew that God was greater than any shortcomings they had. When...

    A Spirit of Unbelief

Beliefs or faith? If we had religious beliefs the size of a mustard seed we could move mountains??? Beliefs are in the realm of religion. They come from the temporal part of us...what we think or believe or have an opinion about. Of course beliefs are inevitable....that we take on certain...

    A Spirit of Unbelief

My duty towards God is to warn the Body of Christ of the coming judgment on the church. If I don't warn people, I have blood on my hands. If people revile my words, then their blood is on their own head. A disciple of Christ knows the fear of the Lord. He knows that the judgment on those who...

    A Spirit of Unbelief

You've received a sample of grace...good. But that is not enough for you to justify yourself. You are in the race of faith whether you accept that or not. When you defend yourself you are relying on the part of you that needs to go to the cross. Many have failed that very race. Fail the...

    A Spirit of Unbelief

You have to realize that once you've lowered the standard of Christ to beliefs...or even being birthed in the Spirit...rather than a full-blown spiritual walk in the perfection of Christ by grace through faith...you have failed the grace of God. So what if people are birthed in the Spirit. Is...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

An interesting take on this. But the "remember" could just be that the rich man was able to remember his previous life behaviour. The problem with this is that Jesus says to the RYR...obey the commandments...in order to be saved. Selling all to follow Jesus was if he wanted to be...

    A Spirit of Unbelief

There is a living Jesus to walk in...not just a historical Jesus to believe in. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

There's "Bible Jesus" the Jesus that people assume they know. And then there's the living Jesus...who very few encounter.

Need I mention that others will come to this thread to support the premise of the modern gospel as a superficial commitment to a self-preservation based on religious beliefs. Remember the title of this thread, and see how that is widespread.

    Back again.

Doing well. thank you! :) I wrote a book (The Sum of All Possibilities in Christ) and am now doing some podcasts on a channel entitled "Spiritual Christianity". :) Finished a jazz album too!

    Back again.

Justification is based on righteousness. Holiness based on sanctification. But the modern gospel pits one against the other and ends up having neither one.

    Back again.

Hey Hep. Sure I remember you. Good to have you back sister! :) Hope to see you on the threads. And great to hear about you being in the Light. Not many here believe there is even such a thing as the higher walk.

    A Spirit of Unbelief

Are we to expose the spirit of unbelief that has infiltrated the church ...or continue to hide and ignore the sign of the times? Will darkness prevail over the light?

    A Spirit of Unbelief

@Behold is on this thread to show how the modern gospel is based...in the end...on a justification for sin that reveals the same old power of the flesh...in bondage to sin...as if Jesus came only to forgive the prisoners, not set them free. People are enticed in this scheme to justify themselves...

You have misunderstood Paul. He preached a Messiah that was crucified as opposed to a Messiah that would come and liberate the people of Israel in a political way. Your dogmatic conditioning is insufficient to get any handle of what Paul is relating.
