Are the words of Jesus still meant for Christians?

The issue is that many religiously indoctrinated ideologues have infiltrated the churches to cast down both the power of God on the one hand (for believers) and the mercy of God (towards those in the world who suffer, and are innocent of evil intent) on the other. Still others have gone too far...

Are the words of Jesus still meant for Christians?

The age of restoration...or the Millenium rule of Christ and His saints over the world...will reveal the deep seated rebellion in the hearts of men...once the devil is allowed to influence the world once again. People that are swayed to evil cannot be allowed to continue in life forever. The...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

God is indeed holy. But He doesn't judge in holiness...but in righteousness. I have found little to no understanding about the difference among fellow believers. Whoever does what is right and fears God is accepted by Him. Peter said that. God is NOT a respecter of persons or their doctrinal...

Are the words of Jesus still meant for Christians?

Amen. Religious ideologues don't understand how they diminish God...to being as unmerciful as they are. Such will be judged harshly. God judges in righteousness. He is merciful to the meek, the downcast, the widow, the fatherless...regardless of their religious opinions.

Are the words of Jesus still meant for Christians?

This is false, and denies God's mercy. Remember that with the same judgment...or lack of mercy, you show others, you will also be judged...regardless of how precious you feel you are. God is not a respecter of persons. If you are hard on others (even if you interpret God that way) you will be...

The nations will walk in the countenance (Light) of God

A quick video that speaks of the age to come. Commentaries are welcome.

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

And it's one thing to mentally assent to needing Jesus...with lip-service, but quite another to only draw life from Him exclusively.

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

The RYR disqualified himself from ruling and reigning with Christ as the Bride. He will not enter the New Jerusalem. But by God's mercy he may still inherit life in the nations of them that are saved. The kingdom of God is bigger and more varied than most people have considered. It helps to...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

I think some of it has to do with aberrant teachings...prosperity gospel is an example of that. Controlling spirit is another. But I would say that generally the gospel is not understood by modern believers as a whole. Not at any depth. We are rich just like the RYR...even more so....and rather...

Are the words of Jesus still meant for Christians?

Man, too many layers to this onion to sort out. Too many inaccuracies. Jesus said..."My words are Spirit and they are life" Do you see words as persons? Jesus is the word (singular) but He speaks words (Spirit). Is Jesus creating new persons by using words??? Do we worship them as God? Are...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

Not enough to live in God's presence in the holy city. But God is merciful enough to let him walk in the light of his countenance among the nations of them that are saved.

Are the words of Jesus still meant for Christians?

One would have to know Greek to know that the word "autos" means either he, or it. Same as in French and other languages. The bible also says that wisdom is a she. Is wisdom a person? no. But in Hebrew wisdom is feminine in gender. Truth is also feminine. So in Hebrew we would say...The truth...

    Quick-Vid of Forgiveness vs Atonement

The difference between forgiving and cleansing? If you forgive me for something....that doesn't make me clean from sin. People walk in their own power and mess up. We are to forgive others their sins...not cleanse them. So they remain in their own power even after being forgiven. When we are...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

Jesus was correcting what the traditions of men had taken away from God's law. The same thing needs to be done today concerning the gospel. INHERITING life in the next age is indeed through law keeping. We will all be judged by our works. Entering into eternal life NOW...to walk as Jesus...

Are the words of Jesus still meant for Christians?

That Holy Spirit also said that Jesus was His Son. So that was the Spirit of the Father. You are making a spirit to be a separate person....which the bible does not teach. I said that God is One Spirit...not One Person. God is One Spirit divided into TWO Persons. Each Person has a PORTION of...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

Jesus said to do the righteousness commandments....to love others as ourselves....from the second tablet. But not the 10th commandment (or the first 4 holiness commandments) That commandment cannot be kept by a person walking according to the flesh.

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

This is an error. What you could say is that only Luther understood Paul. That for 1,500 years God hid the mystery of the easy believism, name it claim it, gospel until some genius drunken monk discovered it. There's this bridge for sale...  :(
