WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

this is great, Not perseverance of the saint (we persevere) but preservation (he preserves us) ps 37: 28 For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

it does not get any more clearer. our belief at one time saved us we lost that belief, hence our belief was in vein by that defenition. it means our belief never saved us.. But we know JLB believes otherwise.

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

I have I was justified ( a completed action) By faith I trust God, just like abraham did way back in Gen 15. Paul shows us this in romans 4: Faith: 1. contrary to hope. in hope do we believe? 2. do we not waver at the promise to undbelief, but are we strengthened in faith giving God the...

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

A man is justified by faith. not faithfullness. God remains faithful even if we are faithless. He cannot deny himself 2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

I agree. in the 300's it really changed, and rome took over the church and paganised it. But if we look in the NT.. it was not new. their were false teachers in the church the whole time..

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

Do you think God makes mistakes? Do you understand that if you say a little white lie you are not only insulting God. you are breaking his commands? do you understand that if you know to do somethign that is good. yet do not do it. it is sin, another insult to the HS. If God loved us based on...

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

I do not like the term OSAS.. from what I see. it causes those who are anti calvinist to go balistic.. I prefer the term eternal security. or better yet. just use the words Jesus spoke. they will never perish, they will have eternal life. they will live forever. never die. passed from death to...

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

No actually I am not I am taking the words of God through the apostle John and making the rest of scripture agree with it. No. How would it be aluding to sinless perfection when you just agreed that it was living or habitual sin, and not induvidual personal sin? No. again, your missing his...

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

And we would miss you. But that does not mean we should not heed scripture No contradiction at all I. Chapter 1 John makes it clear If I say I have no sin I am decieved and I should Confess that sin I claim I do not have If I say I have never sinned I make God a liar for all have sinned 2...

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

the issue is not sola scripture the issue is interpreting the word so it does not contradict itself. that to me is an internal check of the word interpreting itself.

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

I know you hate it.. But it is the word.. Yes once sentence could if we interpret it the wrong way but the bible will never contradict itself. interpretation is the cause of debates. if we all interpret it the right way. we would not have these debates..lol

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

No Because John said they were never saved.. if we deliberately go on living in sin, have we ever been saved? 1 John 3: 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever...

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

did he or was he making a suggestion. if they fall away if, and they can If, but its not possibe If and maybe the will maybe they will not? I believe the word if is the second form If they could fall away (if it was possible) they could never be renewed to repentence for they crucify the...

WHAT IS MEANT IN HEBREWS SAYING THERE IS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS?

But Jesus was God. so they abandoned God they did not worship the God of heaven, they worshiped a God they made up in their own hearts.
