Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

The issue is often witness talking points: all the young ppl with Bible verses tattooed with whom I have talked seem to have received them as witness tools.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@LadyofFireandLace Yes; you're right about earrings or their clasps having the habit of going walk-about during sleep. (Many men and boys wear earrings too, and this is a painful lesson they, too, have had to learn...) Whereas a tattoo: once firmly in, stays in..........

A Simple Yet Irrefutable Reason The Catholic church Is Not Rooted In Christ's Church

@Taken When Paul used the term 'traditions' he was using it in the sense of Scripture for which the Holy Spirit had allowed him to be the penman. "Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle." (2 Thessalonians 2.15)

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Taken Proverbs 17.17 I agree; context is important. I guess the point of the previous post also was that tattooing can be tastefully done (as you maybe implied with your comment: "And flower or butterfly tats would certainly be a more pleasant topic") Seems also like so many Christians -...

Was Jesus/Yeshua born with a Sin Nature?

@Taken I must say that some of the stream-of-consciousness threads on the forum are intriguing - especially when they go on and on (like - I suppose - some of my threads), but finding the thread of ultimate meaning can at times be elusive.........

A Simple Yet Irrefutable Reason The Catholic church Is Not Rooted In Christ's Church

@Taken I remember an interview when someone tried to blame Anne Graham Lotz for some stuff that baptists did. She serenely replied, At that time I was attending a Presbyterian church......

Was Jesus/Yeshua born with a Sin Nature?

@Taken We shall be changed..... "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." (1 Corinthians 15.52)

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Taken Interesting comment; thanks; and I was just trying to figure exactly what you meant; I think you mean, something like: In their 60s and 70s, a lot of women can just go relax tattoo parlor wholeheartedly, now that they especially don't worry about what anyone else may think of...

    Made and Remain : Righteous

@Taken Romans 8 says: 'if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His'. That is, a true believer is always indwelt by the Holy Spirit by Whom he cries, Abba, Father.

All The Ads On The Christianity Boards? Couldn't They At least Be Christian Ads?

@Heart2Soul I think there is a difference between whether the ads may be mildly annoying or actually prohibitive to further use of the forums. I don't think they prohibit further use...........

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Taken Sometimes about faith, sometimes not. Someone quoted in the Huffington Post has commented about how many mature women seem to be really flourishing with finding it a way of increasing their confidence: "...Most of my clients are in the older bracket," Gallo-Kohlas told The Huffington...
