What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

The 'works' that Paul talks about are not being obedient, but letters of the law such as keeping a day holy, and circumcision. Sins of the flesh are what is found in Galatians 5:19-21, and 1 Corinthians.

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

I don't know if it was Diana. Did Diana have a child? Another Roman goddess was Venus with her child Cupid. Ashtoreth was the goddess referred to in the Old Testament. Her son was Tammuz. But you are right that they superimposed Mary and Jesus onto the goddess and child mystery religion. And you...

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

Being in the flesh is because they fell from grace.

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

@Behold There it is above. I explained it to theefaith too. Here is that one. Yes, but without her sin nature. The seed of the Father that Jesus was conceived with cleansed the sin nature so Christ never sinned. This is something that Catholics couldn't understand, so made up the unbiblical...

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

Peter preached later. And I erased nothing if you looked for something and couldn't find it. In fact, I explained what I meant, so did you read that or miss it? I'll see if I can find it. The gist of it was that Jesus inherited Mary's human nature, not her sin nature. Otherwise, he could never die.

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

What works of the flesh? In fact, what flesh? Paul is not speaking of our body when he uses "flesh" in Romans 8:8-9. He is speaking of "the old man," the carnal nature. If you are teaching that actions of sin are not seen as sin you are mistaken. Please tell me you don't believe that.

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

It wasn't Peter, it was the 120. They understood supernaturally in their hearing. Understand the text. Each devout Jew heard THEM like a choir in each of their individual languages. The gospel was for the Jews. Gentiles are only grafted in, so don't let "dealing with the Jews" throw you. The...

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

Seeing as there will be no sinners in heaven, don't you think the question should be can you willfully sin after Salvation? Or is that two extreme for even you to teach?

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

I'll let you address that with him. My question now is do you speak in tongues.

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

Right, but he is addressing those who only think they are saved. They have never crucified the flesh, nor know that the Spirit can. BTW, do you speak in tongues?

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

I always teach 2 Peter 1:2-11. And have them memorize 5-7, but 8-11 should give us pause to avoid Matthew 7:21-23.

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

There are whole denominations of "Christians" that try to be good, forever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth. Why? Because they are afraid to teach on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is still on the outside drawing them, but never allowed on the inside changing them and...

What and when is the rapture. Part 1

No, see the last verse of Revelation 12. The "rest of her offspring" are Christians. The "woman" is Israel, and Romans 11 puts us in Israel as the wild olive branch, but Jesus is the root of both Jew and Gentile. The Church is not a Gentile Church, it is a Jewish Church with only a pre-set...

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

I heard that a long time ago about going in and out of the Spirit, but I've come to the conclusion seeing as those without the Spirit do not belong to Christ, that we never go out of the Spirit. Once inside of us, our conscience is super-sensitized and that never goes away. It not only convicts...

What part of us is redeemed/What part of us is meant to be crucified?

For me it was one event, an experience. It is not something I progressed in, it was all God. When His Spirit came into me, I felt it, and a heaviness was lifted out of me, making me feel light as a feather. What changed in me was the desire to sin was gone. I was so hungry for more and more of...

Does man naturally have ability to Seek God ?

Just by looking at nature every man should be able to know there is a God. The Native Americans call Him the Great Spirit. And every religion has a God/god. Romans 1 says only a fool says there is no God. Finding the true God has to be told to man through His Word. You mentioned John 8:34. Does...

What is so wrong with Calvinism ?

I've got some questions maybe you could answer. What does Calvin say is the "gospel"? What happened in 1689 for you to chose that along with reformed? The T - total depravity - does Calvin teach we are still totally depraved after being cleansed by Christ? IOW are we still sinners?

    The Divine Exchange

My NKJV is interesting. 17 “Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves, To go to the gardens After an idol in the midst, Eating swine’s flesh and the abomination and the mouse, Shall be consumed together,” says the Lord. It caused me to read the first part. Thus says the Lord...
