@Behold, I have to leave for Bible study. Talk to you later, brother.

    The Divine Exchange

You are quoting what you believe it says, but what? No text? How can I read it in context.
  3. 1stCenturyLady

    The Divine Exchange

Correct, so why do you keep quoting Jesus came to save sinners if you know we are free from committing sin. Those who sin have never known Jesus, but are still children of the devil.

    The Divine Exchange

Show me the verse that says Jesus keeps us saved seeing as you deny most of the Word of God and prefer your changes.

    The Divine Exchange

So you just cut that verse out of your Bible? You take no responsibility and teach your students to just eat drink and be merry?

    The Divine Exchange

I don't contradict it. But I do explain that in SAVING SINNERS, which I've never denied, He makes them CHILDREN OF GOD FREE FROM SIN. Do you even understand what I teach or is there a language barrier that makes you seem like two years old.

    The Divine Exchange

We are given the mind of Christ. But we are responsible for growing in that mindset. 2 Peter 1:5-9

    The Divine Exchange

What does 1 John 5:18 mean when it says we keep ourselves? You deny and contradict the Word of God. Shame on you.
  9. 1stCenturyLady

    The Divine Exchange

Yes, TO REPENTANCE! We are no longer sinners then. Jesus cleanses all of our past sins. And we sin no more as long as we stay abiding in Jesus.

    The Divine Exchange

Your 'mind' is your spirit. Galatians 5:17; Romans 7:25; 1 Corinthians 2:16 Your 'heart' is your soul. Jeremiah 31:31-36 Both of these are what is born again, leaving ONLY our body that must yet die.

    The Divine Exchange

You know that is a lie. I preach the truth of what the Cross and Resurrection did for us. Do you?
  12. 1stCenturyLady

    The Divine Exchange

I already answered this on another thread.

    The Divine Exchange

And you keep preaching Jesus saves sinners, with the impression they stay sinners, but are merely covered with Christ's righteousness. You haven't used that word I don't think, so I thought for a time this week we were saying the same think, but then you started sounding Calvinist and shot it...

    The Divine Exchange

I agreed until this. You have to use scripture and stay grounded in the Word. 1 John 5:18 18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. Behold, you can't keep on contradicting God's Word!

    1 John 1: Mystery Resolved

Behold, did I ever ask you what your definition of God's grace is? If so, forgive me for asking again. Our differences may stem from different interpretations.

    1 John 1: Mystery Resolved

He can keep ME saved. But that is because I have not been taught the heresy that Christians willfully sin. In fact, you don't even know that not all sin is willful! Don't you realize that what you teach does not bring one to salvation, but to a justification of their sin. And the wages of sin is...

    The Divine Exchange

I preach the scriptural version of what the Cross did for us - you don't even know it. Let's try again. Romans 6:6 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. Romans 6:22 22 But now having...

    The Divine Exchange

What you don't understand is that when we repent and become born again, Jesus does NOT leave us sinners. 1 John 3:5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. So...

    The Divine Exchange

No, silly. The book about Christ's High Priesthood is Hebrews. The Old Covenant had Levi priests. Jesus was made a High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, not Levi. Why do you think? Do you know? Those kinds of priests you are thinking of were only in the Levitical priesthood, however we are...

Read the name of the Book, silly. Who is it to...?
