I have already pointed out that in the New Testament Satan was understood to be a devil. Genesis does not define the snake as a devil or Satan. The Old Testament does not define Satan as a devil. That is one of the reasons the Jews then and today do not believe in a devil.

Our lineage is Gentiles.....I agree. And Paul and Peter did promote a different theology than the Jewish-Christians. We are Gentile-Christians and the 1st Christian council in Acts 15 was the dividing line. But all Apostles have something to offer.
