What does the Bible say about Sexual Immorality?

Why? 1 Corinthians 7 doesn't say that, only to marry so they won't sin.

    Who has the authority…

Those are all beliefs of the RCC, NOT Jesus, nor any apostle. Again you put Mary higher than her Son. You: "Jesus Christ still performed the miracle cos his mother interceded, thus a higher law, “honor thy father and mother” if ANYONE else asked it would NOT have been done!"

What does the Bible say about Sexual Immorality?

This is actually about one or both of the two being married. If a single man looks with lust at a married woman, he is committing adultery. Or if a married woman looks at a single man with lust in her heart, she is committing adultery. Or if both of the parties are married to someone else and...

    You Must Be Born Again

Robert, I know you are not taught this in your religion, but look at Revelation 7 and there it is told who the 144k really are. They are Jews, national Jews! Tribes of Jews. All Jews. Not Gentiles. This is during the Great Tribulation when all Israel will be saved, Romans 11, after the last...

Paul or Athenasius - Who Speaks the Truth?

I see you are talking about the Trinity. So you are Oneness then? As for Romans 8:9 Look at it again. 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Paul or Athenasius - Who Speaks the Truth?

They both are speaking the truth. John 17. In fact, there are conditions that are not mentioned by Paul in that verse, but that he has written elsewhere like Romans 8:9

    Who has the authority…

Read the rosary - there are many more tributes to Mary than to God. Why? And why do you take away things like hope and our advocate away from Jesus and give them to His mother? Is it because you unconsciously see Jesus as still a child.

    Who has the authority…

Seeing as Jesus is God, I do not have a problem like some do in saying that Mary was the mother of God. But that doesn't make Mary God, nor to be prayed to. She is dead, not our hope, nor our advocate as your rosary makes you say.

    What is Holy Spirit?

Personally, that is my experience. I was baptized 3 times, then 4 years later I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Wow! What a change, and I also received most of the gifts of the Spirit. Through them I heard God say to me, "Now be baptized in water," so I did. I guess the other 3 didn't...

    Who has the authority…

I'm not attacking the core issues of the RCC that are scriptural. But Jesus hates what you did to His mother. Therefore, so do I

Why Did Jesus come to Die? -

I was astonished that he meant not just our past sins, but also sins we continue to commit. Jesus came to take away our sin nature we inherited from Adam. The Holy Spirit then gives us the same nature that Christ had. That is our spirit becoming born again - from Adam to Christ.

    What is Holy Spirit?

Sorry, I went back and reread your post. You are right, you meant Holy Spirit. Bottom line. Jesus came to take away our sin nature we inherited from Adam. The Holy Spirit then gives us the same nature that Christ had. That is our spirit/mind becoming born again - from Adam to Christ.

    What is Holy Spirit?

He was just referring to your order of events. You said we receive the Spirit after being water baptized. Then he referred you to Cornelius. And now you are acknowledging that he received the Holy Spirit, and then was baptized in water. I say we cannot make formulas. God doesn't fit in our...

    What is Holy Spirit?

I agree. There are many calling themselves Christians, that have not completely opened the door to Jesus and surrendered their whole lives to Him. As far as the Holy Spirit, He is still on the outside drawing them to open the door. We are not truly Christians until the Spirit of Christ lives on...

    What is Holy Spirit?

His Son was the Word and the Word was omnipresent. That part of Jesus is the glory He had before becoming flesh. Now I'm going to reprint that portion of my post that you said you "disagree, because I do not see that idea in the scriptures." Please highlight in red what other portions you don't...

    Who has the authority…

And how does that effect us?
  18. 1stCenturyLady

    What is Holy Spirit?

I really don't think you know what Jesus means by "Spirit." We MUST be born of the HOLY SPIRIT. We must be born of the HOLY Spirit. Acts of the Apostles 1:8, Romans 8:9; 1 John 3:9; 1 John 5:18

    What is Holy Spirit?

Here is the test you quoted. Note the red. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be...

    Who has the authority…

I'm not Catholic, so you won't accept my interpretation, so what does the RCC say is the reason?
