For the most part I agree with you, but I do not think that the Holy Spirit taught these people that the earth was flat, set on a foundation, and did not move and the moon and sun revolved around the earth. They were writing what they understood to be true.

What we call the Book of Hebrews did not originally have a title and no one know who wrote it. The words Jew or Hebrew do not appear in the test. The topic of Hebrews….It appears it was written to Jewish-Christians warning them not to revert to Jewish beliefs and Laws. As Paul said….doing...

NO. I think if Christians are going to believe everything in the Bible is literal they are saying the world is flat. But whether they do or don’t they are still Christians. Every body is a atheist if they do not agree with you. You are not worth my time.

Like I said I have no problem with people that want to take it literally. And for most the Bible that is OK…but when you get back in Genesis which is actually the Hebrew Bible there seems to be some things missing.
