    Fear God or Presume acceptance

You are assuming that I have carnal worries. I leave it to God to judge me. I'm not afraid to die. Fear of death is NOT fear of the Lord. Nobody knows what God will judge on that day. To have a make believe assumption about that is just to deceive yourself. There are going to be a lot of...

    Fear God or Presume acceptance

That's the whole idea of grace. This life is like a changing room...getting on our robes of righteousness. And we are given time to do that...if we are permitted into the race for any length of time. Grace is not an eternal looking the other way. Grace is for a time. Nobody is going to be...

    Fear God or Presume acceptance

Actually...we can become worthy of a continuing life based on what we did with God's mercy and gift. That's the truth. So people will have a rebellious attitude towards it. It's only "natural."
  4. Episkopos

    Fear God or Presume acceptance

We first receive His life and Spirit by sheer mercy. Nobody deserves mercy or grace. But then what we do with it can either be good or bad. So we will all be judged at the end for what we have done for what we have been given. The longer we have to live out the Christian life, the more fruit...

    Fear God or Presume acceptance

That's not our call. We have enough on our plate to get it right ourselves. We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling...in the knowledge that God doesn't respect persons. He grades us according to what we have been given. No favourites...just a righteous judgment.
  6. Episkopos

    Fear God or Presume acceptance

salvation now is a gift...but we will all be judged by our performance: what we did with what we have been given. Grace is the empowerment to do well so that God can both justify us and even give us a reward....based on what we did with what we have been given. Otherwise it is up to God to have...

    Fear God or Presume acceptance

We can be obedient to God at different distances. I think Marks puts everything on the new birth as being all there is...not realizing that the new birth is into a much higher and harder race. God is righteous. There are no free rides., To whom much is given MORE is required. So then whatever...

    Fear God or Presume acceptance

This is what wanky doctrine leads to. As if God cares not for our obedience. Of course obedience justifies us...in HIS sight. Not our own. You have to take the focus off yourself to understand God's ways. It is the one who DOES the word that is justified. The DOER. We will be judged by what we...

    Utah "Decriminalizes" Polygamy?

    It's about time! ....(hehe....I'm kidding)

Can men with man buns be saved?

Ah, yes, a peculiar people! ;)

Can men with man buns be saved?

I agree. Nobody is born with a man bun. That is something that people get "wrapped up" in later in life. This can lead to many problems...just like having a mullet. These are things that you can grow out of...and change. But hey there are some things that you CANNOT change. You can't change...

Can men with man buns be saved?

Only if the hairstyle is predestined to be. You could limit that atonement to having one or the other. Unless one is irresistible. But then that would be unmerited.

Can men with man buns be saved?

You won't get many showers of approval for that.

Can men with man buns be saved?

Ah yes...such is the extent of grace my friend...so that if possible even the unkempt could be saved.

Can men with man buns be saved?

And Vikings used to take baths every week...whether they were needed or not....unlike the other Genteel folk who only took a yearly bath. (It was seen as too feminine)

Can men with man buns be saved?

That's IT! So you know of what I speak! What is more manly than that? A parted beard (man bun notwithstanding)

A rubber band to tie hair with. :) Actors who portray Vikings often have a few of these in their beards....or so I've noticed.

Can men with man buns be saved?

I prefer man bags to put kleenex in in case of man colds.

Can men with tattoos be saved?

Can one save his own skin?

Can men with man buns be saved?

I especially like a beard with more than one elastic...Viking style. And man buns...while not theologically sound...are very practical. I like these. ;)
