Who is the Queen of Heaven.

....since indeed the NT says there is 'one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus' (1 Timothy 2.5), then the fact that many ppl still see others as worthy of imprecation shows that pagan practises - against all denials - are still apparent.

Christ`s Seat of Power and Authority.

@Marilyn C It's is indeed from the exalted position of glory that He even now intercedes for those who trust Him: :) "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us." (Romans 8.34).

Who is the Queen of Heaven.

@1stCenturyLady It's not hogwash as our friend tries to claim; there are plenty of examples of how the pagan cults have been subsumed into ecclesiastical practices.

Who is the Queen of Heaven.

@1stCenturyLady Gloriously, the Lord Jesus is risen and 'ever lives to make intercession' (Hebrews 7.25) at the right hand of the Father for those who trust Him.

Who is the Queen of Heaven.

Hi @Heart2Soul Well, saying so, is all part of the system. Though it's not a Scriptural title.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Qoheleth I can see anyway you are familiar with the reasons which often motivate believers to go get faith based tattoos.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@MatthewG Yes, it can seem a compelling thing to want to go do.

    A Discussion About Truth

@MatthewG Romans 8 is such an encouragement because the Holy Spirit Who indwells every born again believer also causes them to cry 'Abba, Father'....

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

I think this is for instance why many Christians from a dispensational background feel that, seeing as the Gospel (as opposed to the law,as per the 1689 confession) is the rule of the believer's life, then a faith based tattoo as a witness means is something in the area of personal...

What if you lose your faith?

@GodsGrace Acts 2.42 is a very helpful guide to local church activities; it describes what was done. Have a nice night...

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@GodsGrace Yes, indeed. If they display an interest; understood. It's so widespread; it's what's done now, confidently. Like you said a while ago: GodsGrace said: ↑ Like FHII said: The 'trick' I guess is so that the young ppl don't get over-confident and rush into inkings without being...

What if you lose your faith?

@GodsGrace Shows the need to be continually dependent on the Spirit of God for understanding, as we search the Scriptures.....

What if you lose your faith?

@Behold I love the quote which @Eternally Grateful has on his avatar: "He that hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ".

The Deity of Jesus under attack on this forum.

Firstly, if you look at my posts - your question is direct about me - you will see where I stand as regards the words recorded in Scripture. Secondly, I think your question is loaded to leave me supposedly with believing only whatever conclusion you have already come to, as my only option. (I...

@Pearl Scripture is full of His deity also, most gloriously......

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@GodsGrace There's probably even a case for the parents of young ppl at around 18 or so to talk over with them aspects of tattooing that are worth avoiding and even take them on a visit without obligation to a tattoo parlor so that eventually when they do have their first parlor session it will...

The Deity of Jesus under attack on this forum.

@GodsGrace I agree that sometimes it can be hard to exchange views when the response gets personalized; there is a virtue indeed in simply quoting Scripture relevantly.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

Most believers from a dispensational church background would agree that we are not under the law as the Old Testament saints were.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

@Qoheleth Hebrews 7.12 shows that the law was changed. What we now have is better than the law; Hebrews 7.19.
