    Read that one too... There's another about a boy running off and hiding in an airplane which promptly crashed...and the boy has to hike out. It also involved a endangered species of crane... But in it too he has to work non-stop to survive. Those that try to homestead up in the extreme north...

    Well, If somehow God had made known to me what I know today last year at this time... I woulda been a busy little bee of sorts. I still would have done Christmas the same. (I worked myself into complete exhaustion) But then would have had a "sit down" with a friend of mine who is a broker...

    Something about Christmas inspires thoughts of hearth and home and traditional values. Many are way too busy to do anything on the hearth... And I love giving a taste of that... even if I do cheat by having a culinary degree.

    Yeah... My wife likes those... well she used to until I started making them. I can make just about anything out there...I got some round "ball" candy molds. I might use them for the coffee kahlua ones this year. Since I'm not going to parties...it will all be porch visits this year.

    Godiva is lower quality than what I do. They are very expensive and use machines to do what I do by hand. Mine aren't as consistent (I do try to make them consistent) But better fillings made from scratch. And my chocolate is usually a tad thicker than theirs. Home made caramel that screams...

    I make the same quality...we both were trained by the same people at the same school. (CIA) I just don't charge for mine... Mine are gifts. And I only do it for Christmas.
